Days before the July 4th holiday, Americans Taylor Fritz and Jenson Brooksby will face each other in the 2025 Lexus Eastbourne Open final.

27-year-old World No. 4 Taylor Fritz is going for his 10th career ATP title and fourth at Eastbourne. His path to the final including a two-day tight match over Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca. Fritz is also vying for his second grass court title of the season. He won the BOSS Open two weeks ago.
Jenson Brooksby, 24, is trying to get his career back on track. After suspension and injuries kept him out of the game for over two years, the former World No. 33 is rising up the rankings and will not be out of the Top 100 for long. (Brooksby is currently World No. 149.)
Brooksby won his first career ATP title earlier this year at the US Clay Court Championships. He opened up about his childhood autism diagnosis, hoping to serve as an inspiration for other kids dealing with it.
Taylor Fritz and Jenson Brooksby head-to-head
Fritz and Brooksby split their two previous meetings, both happened at Grand Slams. Brooksby won at the 2021 US Open, and Fritz won in the first round of the 2025 Australian Open.
Taylor Fritz has dealt with injuries most of the winter, an abdominal issue that lingered the more he played so he was forced to take some time off. Paul Annacone, a member of his coaching team, said that Fritz’s ab injury has finally healed.
Both are trying to get their grass court games in order before heading to Wimbledon where play begins on Monday, June 30.
