Maya Joint, Learner Tien, and Jakub Mensik are the teenage stars that scored big wins on Wednesday morning at the Mallorca and Eastbourne Wimbledon warmup tournaments.
Maya Joint Takes Out Emma Raducanu In Eastbourne
19-year-old Australian Maya Joint defeated Ons Jabeur in her previous round at the Lexus Eastbourne Open. She backed that victory up with a big three-set win over 2021 US Open Champion Emma Raducanu.

Joint is having a breakout season after capturing her maiden WTA title in Rabat in late May.
She is 33-16 in 2025 and currently ranked 51st and the second highest ranked Australian female tennis player behind Daria Kasatkina who is World No. 16.
Learner Tien Beats Ben Shelton In Mallorca
In the battle of the Americans, World No. 64 Learner Tien, 19, defeated World No. 10 Ben Shelton. It was a duel of left handed servers.
Tien defeated Shelton in straight sets.

Shelton and Tien are among 15 American men in the ATP Top 100. Top ranked American, World No. 4 Taylor Fritz, will take on another teenage superstar in Joao Fonseca, for the first time ever, later today in Eastbourne.
Other Americans in the Top 100 include Frances Tiafoe (12), Tommy Paul (13), Sebastian Korda (31), Brandon Nakashima (32), Alex Michelsen (33), Marcos Giron (45), Reilly Opelka (69), Aleksandar Kovacevic (75), Mackenzie McDonald (88), Ethan Quinn (89), Brandon Holt (99), and Nishesh Basavareddy (100).
Jakub Mensik Defeats Reilly Opelka At Eastbourne
2025 Miami Open champion Jakub Mensik, 19, defeated Reilly Opelka in straight sets to set up a quarterfinal match with Alejandrop Davidovich Fokina on Thursday.

Since defeating Novak Djokovic in Miami, he has only reached the quarterfinals of one tournament (Madrid Open).
20-Year-Olds Alex Eala And Alex Michelsen Also Prevail
20-year-old Filipina Alex Eala defeated Jelena Ostapenko via walkover in Eastbourne. Eala was leading in the third set when Ostapenko retired.
American Alex Michelsen, also 20, defeated Brandon Holt in another all-American matchup in Mallorca.
Michelsen and Tien are also in the Mallorca Championships men’s doubles quarterfinals.
