The Tennessee Titans are in desperate need of a quarterback. They also have the first overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. So their front office and coaching staff was out in full force to watch top prospect Cam Ward perform at the University of Miami’s Pro Day on Monday.

Titans Brass On Hand To Evaluate Cam Ward At Miami’s Pro Day

In what is predicted to be a draft class that is light on quarterback talent, Ward has been the standout prospect. There were discussions a few months back about whether he or Shedeur Sanders would be the first signal caller selected in April, but Ward has pulled away from the pack, and is now heavily favored to be picked no.1 overall.

There have been (and will be) rumors floating about whether the Titans intend on keeping their valuable draft asset. A handful of QB-hungry teams exists near the top of the draft, many of whom would benefit from getting their hands on the best prospect available.

A month out from Draft Night, it is still unclear how Tennessee views Ward. But they may be starting to formulate their decision after Monday’s events in South Florida.

There was plenty of Titans brass on hand when Cam Ward went through his throwing and conditioning drills at Miami’s Pro Day. According to a report from NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, the team’s head coach, general manager, and head of football operations were all present on Monday. Their assistant GM, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks coach were watching, as well. Tennessee had all hands on deck in order to begin to finalize their evaluation process, and may be coming away from the event with a clearer picture about the future.

Other reports said that Ward even had dinner with some of the Titans representatives over the weekend.

Ward would help fill one of the biggest areas of need for any team in the NFL. The Titans have struggled to find consistent quarterback play since Ryan Tannehill’s performance declined a few years back. They tried their hand with Will Levis, but that experiment has likely come to an end after poor play from the second year QB in 2024.
