Despite being considered the weaker conference, the NFC still has many good teams.

The San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl contenders.

The next tier includes the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, and Green Bay Packers.

However, the Packers’ season depends on the health and how quickly Jordan Love can recover and return.

Those are the six best teams in the NFC unless Love is out for an extended period and the Packers falter without him.

After those six teams, there are a bunch of solid teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and Seattle Seahawks.

However, three sleeper teams could emerge as a potential wild-card team, especially if the Packers will be without Jordan Love for weeks.

Below, we discuss three sleeper teams in the NFC that could be potential wild-card teams.

Three Sleeper Teams In The NFC

The San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Philadelphia Eagles are the best and most talented teams in the NFC.

After those three teams, there are some uncertainties.

Green Bay could be without Love for weeks.

Dallas has a good offense but they have some holes in their roster.

The Rams have a good offense but Puka Nacua is out for at least four weeks and their defense is suspect.

Below are three sleeper teams in the NFC that could emerge as a possible wild-card team.

Minnesota Vikings

In week 1, the Minnesota Vikings smashed the New York Giants 28-6.

Minnesota’s defense was all over Daniel Jones.

Yes, the Giants could be the worst team in the NFC, and Daniel Jones once again looked horrendous.

Still, it was an impressive road victory for the Vikings.

Sam Darnold was efficient and has many weapons at his disposal, along with a good offensive scheme.

Justin Jefferson is arguably the best WR in the NFL.

Jordan Addison is a very good number 2 WR.

Minnesota will get another receiving threat down the road when TE T.J. Hockenson returns.

It could be week 7 or a bit later but Hockenson will just be another added weapon for a good Vikings offense.

RB Aaron Jones is still able to produce at a high level.

Darnold is surrounded by talent on offense and the Vikings have a very good offensive scheme for Darnold to run.

Minnesota’s defense should do a decent job under Brian Flores, despite losing Danielle Hunter in the offseason.

The Vikings are a good all-around team and will be in the playoff mix at the end of the season.

Minnesota is a potential sleeper team this season and could be a wild-card team.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears were down 17-0 against the Tennessee Titans in week 1.

It all looked doom and gloom in Caleb Williams’ first-ever NFL regular season contest.

However, Chicago’s defense was strong and shut out the Titans in the second half.

They kept Tennessee at 17 points and also got a pick-six in the fourth quarter, which ultimately won the game.

Caleb Williams had a very rough first start but somehow, the Bears ended up winning the game.

Williams will get better and will improve as the season goes on.

He has DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze at his disposal.

Odunze is week-to-week with an MCL injury.

Still, Moore and Allen are a good duo at WR.

Chicago’s defense improved last year in the second half and they continued to play well in week 1.

Their defense and special teams each scored a TD but their offense did not find the endzone.

Chicago kicked three field goals and converted one extra point in week 1.

The offense will get better as Williams gets more comfortable and their defense will continue to play well.

The Bears are a sleeper team in the NFC and will be in the playoff mix at the end of the season.

Arizona Cardinals

The third sleeper team may be a surprise but the Arizona Cardinals have played good football with Kyler Murray at QB.

They were in Buffalo for week 1 and played them very tough, despite losing.

The Bills are a very good team and the Cardinals held their own against them and played well.

Arizona has a very good offense.

Kyler Murray is a talented QB, it is a matter of time before Marvin Harrison is considered among the elite wideouts, Trey McBride is a solid TE option, and James Conner when healthy produces at the RB position.

The problem will be on the defensive side of the ball for the Cardinals.

They do not have a good run or pass defense and will need this group to improve.

Still, the Cardinals can hang with most teams in the NFC and they will not be an easy out.

If the Cardinals improve defensively throughout the season, this will be a dangerous team.

Arizona is a potential sleeper team in the NFC and could fight for a playoff spot.
