After a thrilling finish at the U.S. Open, the PGA Tour rolls on with its final signature event of the season, the Travelers Championship. The world’s top golfers are once again set to compete at TPC River Highlands for a $20 million purse.

Fresh off his U.S. Open victory, J.J. Spaun is in the field and listed at +5000 odds. The odds-on favorite remains the world’s top-ranked golfer, Scottie Scheffler, at +325.

While TPC River Highlands won’t be as demanding as Oakmont, it still presents its own set of challenges. Top contenders in the field include Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and more.

Travelers Championship 2025 Predictions

Here are our Travelers Championship 2025 predictions and the best bets to win the tournament.

  • Viktor Hovland (+3000)
  • Cameron Young (+5000)
  • Brian Harman (+7500)

Viktor Hovland (+3000)

Hovland is finally starting to look like his old self after a third-place finish at the U.S. Open last weekend. He’s been playing well overall but had issues with his driver, which held him back. With a more forgiving course this week and manageable roughs, Hovland should head into TPC River Highlands with plenty of confidence. He’ll have an easier time getting from the tee box to the fairway, giving him more opportunities to attack the flags. Expect a low-scoring weekend from Hovland in the final signature event of the year.

Cameron Young (+5000)

Things are heating up for Cameron Young as he continues his hunt for a first PGA Tour win. He had a stellar weekend at Oakmont Country Club, finishing T4 for the second straight week. Young now has three top-10 finishes in his last five starts, a hot streak, especially after going 11 events without cracking the top 10. At Oakmont, his driving was sharp, and his short game was lights out. After another strong finish, Young is knocking on the door of that elusive first win.

Brian Harman (+7500)

At +7500, Brian Harman is one to keep an eye on this weekend. He already has one win in 2025 and finished T3 at Harbour Town Golf Links, a course with similarities to TPC River Highlands.

There’s a strong chance the 38-year-old will be in contention. He finished T9 here last year, shooting a final-round 62. With a well-rounded game and the ability to go low, Harman has the tools to contend again.

Travelers Championship 2025 Best Bets

  • Justin Thomas (+108) vs. Tommy Fleetwood
  • Russell Henley Top 10 Finish (+275)
  • J.J. Spaun Top 20 Finish (+135)
