The PGA Tour continues the Florida swing as they head to Palm Harbor for the 2025 Valspar Championship on Thursday. Like TPC Sawgrass, Augusta National, and PGA National, the Copperhead Course is another highly ranked course.

Despite being scheduled a week after the Players Championship, the field is pretty strong, with most of the world’s top 50 set to compete this weekend. However, 2025 PLAYERS Championship winner Rory McIlroy and world No.1 Scottie Scheffler are missing from the field.

The field is highlighted by Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Sepp Straka, Tommy Fleetwood, and more.

Valspar Championship 2025 Odds

The Valspar Championship will mark the final event of the Florida swing. It ends off with one of the most challenging courses on the schedule as the field prepares for Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course. It will be a great challenge and practice with Masters only three weeks away.

The field will feature world No.3 Xander Schauffle, Justin Thomas, Sepp Straka, and Tommy Fleetwood. Despite his world ranking, Schauffele isn’t the favorite this weekend. Instead, Tommy Fleetwood opens as the favorite at +1200 odds. Not far behind him, Justin Thomas is at +1400 odds. The top five round out with Schauffele (+1800), Sepp Straka (+2000), and Corey Conners (+2000).

Past winners Sam Burns (+2500), Jordan Spieth (+3000), and Adam Hadwin (+10000) are among the players to watch this weekend.

Justin Thomas (+1200)

Thomas’ game has certainly improved since the Ryder Cup disaster. He’s been excellent this season, showing off his world-class ball striking from tee to green. Despite his last two finishes, Thomas has been playing really well; even his putting game is strong. Thomas has four top-20 finishes in seven starts. To really contend this weekend, he will need to be strong from tee to green and gain more than half a stroke with his putter.

Corey Conners (+2000)

Conners has been flying under the radar. Conners has finished sixth or better in three of the last four signature events. He finished 3rd at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T5 at The Sentry, and fresh off a T6 at the Players Championship.

Conners’ game fits well with Innisbrook, which rewards accurate ball strikers. He sits inside the top 20 in driving accuracy percentage and is 32 in greens in regulation. At +2000, Conners is a steal after his performance at TPC Sawgrass.

Niklas Norgaard (+9000)

Despite being a rookie on the PGA Tour, Norgaard has been statically playing well. He ranks 18th in Strokes Gained: Total and 28th in the Shots Gained: Tee-to-Green category. He’s finished T25 at the Cognizant Classic and T34 at the Mexico and Puerto Rico Open. He struggles with his putter, but if he’s able to gain his footing, he may have enough to break out a win this weekend.
