Valspar Championship 2025 Purse, Payouts, & Prize Money

The 2025 Valspar Championship will tee off on Thursday as the PGA Tour finishes off the Florida swing at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor. There will be $8.7 million up for grabs, with the winner taking home $1.56 million, plus 500 FedEx Cup points.
The Tour is coming off of an exciting finish after Rory McIlroy outdueled J.J. Spaun in a playoff to win the PLAYERS Championship on Monday. The drama will remain high this weekend with several of the world’s top players in action at Innisbrook Resort.
A longtime favorite for many golfers on the PGA Tour, the Copperhead Course is one of the most picturesque golf courses on the schedule and features a small change to the layout in 2025.
Known for its tree-lined fairways and challenging design, it requires players to be strategic with their shots, especially off the tee. The course, which opened in the early 1970s, is famous for its tough closing stretch called the “Snake Pit.” This three-hole section includes two challenging par 4 holes and a demanding 200-yard par 3, making it one of the most difficult parts of the tournament.
Let’s go over what’s on the line this weekend at the 2025 Valspar Championship.
Valspar Championship 2025 Purse
One week after the PLAYERS Championship, eight of the top 25 players in the Official World Golf Rankings will be in action this weekend, competing for a share of an $8.7 million purse. The champion will take home 18% of the purse, the standard PGA Tour winner’s share, which amounts to $1,566,000. All golfers who finish in the top five will secure a payday of at least $350,000. Meanwhile, any golfer who makes the cut will take home at least $18,705.
Below, we’ll break down the 2025 Valspar Championship purse and payouts for every player who makes the cut this weekend.

2025 Valspar Championship Purse Is Up 29% Since 2021
In 2025, the Valspar Championship purse is valued at $8.7 million. The purse has increased by $300,000 in each of the past three tournaments. While that might not seem like a significant jump, the total prize money is up by 29% since 2021.
Last year, Peter Malnati took home the trophy and a healthy $1.51 million winner’s check. There have been multiple repeat winners at the Valspar Championship with Sam Burns and Paul Casey both winning back-to-back titles since 2018. Malnati will look to join that exclusive club with another victory this weekend.
