Vikings vs. Browns Odds and Predictions

The Vikings will be the first team in NFL history to play back-to-back international games in different countries. The Minnesota Vikings began their two-week international stint on the wrong foot.
Despite 350 passing yards from Carson Wentz, the Vikings fell to the Steelers 24-21 in Dublin, Ireland.
Pittsburgh was in cruise control most of this game, entering the fourth quarter with a 21-6 lead. The Vikings outscored the Steelers 15-3 in the fourth to lose by only a field goal.
The Vikings dominated the Steelers in nearly every offensive category, including time of possession — 33:34 to 26:26.
However, Pittsburgh’s defense sacked Wentz five times. The Vikings offense could be down three starters in Week 5, which is a recipe for disaster against a defensive line that features Myles Garrett.
The Cleveland offense is nothing to brag about, ranking 27th in total yards (279.8), 30th in rushing (84.8), and 31st in scoring (14.0).
Joe Flacco is a legend. He’s perfect as a backup who needs to come in and win a few games. However, he should not be the starter. Flacco has two touchdowns and six interceptions. It’s only a matter of time before Kevin Stefanski gives Dillon Gabriel a shot.
The Browns can’t score, but they can get after the quarterback. Cleveland ranks in the top 10 for sacks (11) this season.
If the Vikings are down three starting offensive linemen, I like the Cleveland defense to keep this close because of their ability to pressure Wentz.
Pick: Browns +3.5 (-120)
Vikings vs. Browns Prop
With Aaron Jones on injured reserve, Jordan Mason has stepped into the starting running back role for the Vikings.
Mason has rushed for fewer than 69 yards in three of four games. The only 100-yard rushing game Mason has this season came in Week 3 against the Bengals, who have a terrible defense.
Cleveland has the No. 1 rushing defense (70.3 yards per game) in the NFL. With a makeshift offensive line, Mason should finish under his rushing prop.
