WATCH: Matthew McConaughey As Mike Ditka In Uber Eats Leaked Super Bowl Teaser Ad

Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey will be in an NFL-themed Super Bowl ad for Uber Eats.
He already appeared as himself in a hilarious Uber Eats ad during the NFL season with Christian McCaffrey and Jerry Rice.
Matthew McConaughey Kicks It Up A Notch For Super Bowl Ad
For the Super Bowl, he will use his acting chops to portray Mike Ditka during his tenure as the head coach of the 1985 Chicago Bears.
In the clip, McConaughey looks in the mirror, wearing his Mike Ditka signature Bears sweater, and repeatedly practices Ditka’s infamous “The Bears” mantra. To capture it, he has to bury his trademark southern drawl, which takes several attempts.
The previous ad is cleverly referenced by William “the Refrigerator” Perry’s jersey hanging nearby. McConaughey mentioned Refrigerator Perry by name to Christian McCaffrey in the initial ad.
The leaked clip does what it intended to do. It makes football (and Super Bowl commercial) fans eager to see what McConaughey does in the actual commercial.
For those who are not old enough to remember Ditka from then, check out his acceptance of the Lombardi Trophy in 1986.
Then there’s Coach Mike Ditka. What can I say? Loud, opinionated but passionate and who always gave 200%. Simply one of the BEST and deserving of a place in #NFL100 greatest moments and people. @nfl @ChicagoBears #Chicagogirl #MortonGrove pic.twitter.com/uxvGfyZMzW

Super Bowl Ads Are Big Business
Super Bowl ad spots sold out in early November, three months before the big game. In 2025, the reported cost of a 30-second ad is $7 million. No wonder companies are dropping teasers on YouTube weeks beforehand to get more bang for their buck.
The Super Bowl mainstay companies are back again this year: Budweiser, Doritos, and Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola’s iconic 1980 Super Bowl ad with the kid Mean Joe Greene of the Pittsburgh Steelers remains memorable.
“Hey Kid, Catch!”
Although not its official premiere, this award-winning @CocaCola commercial featuring #Steelers legend Mean Joe Greene airs multiple times during Super Bowl XIV.
