WATCH: The Doha Cat Steals The Show Again at 2025 Qatar TotalEnergies Open

You cannot make this stuff up. The same cat who scampered on the court during Aryna Sabalenka’s Tuesday match at the Qatar TotalEnergies Open in Doha returned to the court one day later.
The internet was full of jokes when the cat affectionately known as Doha cat showed up during Ekaterina Alexandrova’s (notice that her name contains the word cat spelled differently) upset of World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. While everyone laughed at the time, no one could predict what would happen a day later.

The adorable cat seemingly appeared out of nowhere but looked alarmed by the lights, noise, and crowd on the court.
One day later, the same cat returned during Ons Jabeur’s match with Sofia Kenin. This time the feline sat down and planned to watch the action.

In addition to wondering how the quarterfinal matches between Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula and Ekaterina Alexandrova, Ons Jabeur and Jelena Ostapenko, and Amanda Anisimova and Marta Kostyuk will turn out, fans are curious to see if the Doha cat makes his or her third appearance.

Iga Swiatek is vying for her fourth consecutive Qatar TotalEnergies Open title, so maybe the cat will make four appearances. Stay tuned.
