Bill Belichick
One of the greatest coaches in NFL history, Bill Belichick won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants under the tutelage of Bill Parcells. He spent time on the staff of the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and New York Jets before accepting the position of head coach for New England in 2000.
Belichick began leading the Patriots the same year the team drafted a not-so-impressive quarterback named Tom Brady. The duo went on to win six Super Bowls together for the Patriots. Many elements have contributed to Belichick’s success; one being his ability to act as general manager of his New England team thanks to owner Robert Kraft. Belichick is the NFL’s longest-tenured active head coach with three NFL Coach of the Year honors to his name.
