Scottie Scheffler
Easily one of the biggest stars on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler has held the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking on several occasions.
After winning three consecutive state titles in high school, during which time he was the top-ranked junior amateur golfer in the United States, Scheffler attended the University of Texas and helped the Longhorns to three Big 12 championships.
Scheffler turned pro in 2018 and was the Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year the following year, earning two wins to secure full-time membership on the PGA Tour.
Scheffler was named PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2020 and broke through with his first victory in early 2022. That was also the year he reached No. 1 in the world for the first time and captured his first major championship with a victory at The Masters.
Since then, he’s continued to be one of the top players in the game and has added several wins to his resume, including the 2023 edition of The Players Championship.
