Who Won the 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League Final?
The 2023-24 Europa Conference League final pitted Greek outfit Olympiacos against Serie A side Fiorentina at the OPAP Arena in Athens, Greece. The teams were too evenly matched in the first 90 minutes, with neither managing to find the breakthrough.
The game stretched into extra time, but there was nothing to separate the two teams in the first half of it. The rigid deadlock finally gave way in the 116th minute, as Ayoub El Kaabi applied a headed finish to send Santiago Hezze’s cross into the back of the Fiorentina net.
