West Ham New Kit

West Ham United have launched their home kit for the 2025/26 season, and the reception has not been as warm as they might have hoped.

West Ham have gone for a “clean, minimalist aesthetic” for their 2025/26 home kit. The shirt features an all-claret body with blue accents, with the claret-and-blue striped V-collar matching the cuffs. The shirt also features the logo of Hammers’ new primary sponsor, betting giants BOYLE Sports, in big and bold. The logo of Intuit QuickBooks appears on the sleeves.

For the 2025/26 kit, West Ham have reinstated their club crest in all its glory. The Crossed Hammers detailing of their crest also appears on the back of the neck.

The home kit, which will make its first appearance at the BOYLE Sports Cup game against LOSC Lille on August 9, is now on sale. On the club’s official website, the short-sleeved adult shirt is selling for £75, with shorts and socks costing £40 and £18, respectively. For the full West Ham package, one must pay a hefty £133.

West Ham Fans are Unhappy With New ‘ChatGPT Looking’ Kit

West Ham tried something new with their 2025 home kit. However, most fans are not happy with the direction they have taken. Here are some of the reactions from the Hammers’ kit launch.

On X (formerly Twitter), @georgejones_01 suggested very little thought went into designing West Ham’s new kit.

He wrote:

That is the most ChatGPT looking kit ever

@DiafraSakho14 seconded, adding:

Exactly what I said. Looks incredibly ‘fake’ as if it’s come from an ai prompt

@Mike72Brennan accused kit manufacturer, Umbro, of putting in a half-hearted effort, as it was their last year designing a West Ham kit.

Where’s the blue ffs… awful…it’s like Umbro have phoned it in cos it’s their last kit. Did you even consult the fans ?

There have been claims that West Ham would get relegated wearing the 2025/26 shirt.

@Brandon_8900 wrote:

So this is the kit that will be remembered for relegation.

@danwestham1 added:
awful … this is relegation kit to match our board ambition and squad

West Ham United fan account, @WestHamViews_, thought it looked like a knock-off.
It might be better in person, but personally the new home kit isn’t for me. Looks like something I’d see at a knock off football jersey shop.”

@whufcopinions called West Ham out for charging such a premium for this shirt.

Jesus christ. How long did it take someone to think this up?It’s a claret t shirt with a stripy collar and some stickers on it.

The cheek to charge £80 is insane.

West Ham United will play their first London derby of the season against Chelsea. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 23, but has now been moved to Friday, August 22. Will the new date favour West Ham? We cannot wait to find out.
