UFC President Dana White has teased that the rumoured UFC White House card will take place next year to celebrate 250 years of American independence.
White has a strong relationship with President Trump, with the US President formerly stating his desire to stage a UFC event on the south lawn of the White House.
Dana White Confirms UFC White House Card
Just a couple months ago, US President Donald Trump spoke for the very first time of his desire to stage a UFC fight card on the White House grounds.
At the time, it seemed highly improbable and totally unrealistic, but now it seems that it might actually happen.
President Trump added that he wanted to see upward of 20,000 spectators inside the White House grounds, taking in a UFC event to celebrate 250 years of American independence.
As soon as Trump mentioned this, several fighters including Jon Jones, Conor McGregor and plenty more broadcast their desire to partake in the monument MMA event.
Until the event if officially confirmed and a date set, fans will be none the wiser as to who will feature on the UFC White House card. However, UFC betting sites are offering odds on who the main event could be, with a Jones or McGregor return seemingly the most probable right now.
Regardless of who features on the bill, UFC President Dana White has confirmed that the UFC White House card is in the works and will most definitely take place:
“It’s absolutely going to happen,” White told The Associated Press.
“Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS.”
A UFC event at the White House would have seemed highly improbable up until President Trump’s re-election. Given that Trump and White are good friends and business partners, it suddenly started to gather real momentum.
Now, the UFC White House card is well in the works and will most definitely happen next year.
“This is a 1-of-1 event,” White said.

UFC White House Card To Take Place Live/Free On CBS
With the recent broadcast deal between the UFC and Paramount being officially confirmed, this means that going forward there will be no pay-per-view cards.
As soon as the UFC’s current deal with ESPN runs out, all UFC numbered cards will now run as non pay-per-view events on CBS – one of the most popular Paramount+ channels.
From 2026 onwards, Paramount+ will be the official home of the UFC. This includes the numbered cards as well as UFC Fight Night shows. The deal is said to be worth $7.7billion over seven years, all but ending the fight organisation’s pay-per-view era.
Dana White’s net worth has surpassed half-a-billion dollars recently, and this new $7.7bn deal between the UFC and Paramount over the next seven years is sure to further add to his riches.
This means that the proposed UFC White House card set for next year will ultimately air live and free on CBS.
According to the UFC President, there are still several moving parts to the UFC broadcasts and some of their other other television programmes.
White has revealed this could include finding new homes for ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, ‘Dana White’s Contender Series’ and ‘Road To UFC’.
Ultimately though, if the UFC White House event gets officially confirmed, it will be broadcast totally free and live on Paramount+/CBS. What a win for MMA fans worldwide!
