Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes - UFC White House

It has been confirmed that Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes will take place on the South Lawn at the upcoming UFC White House card in June 2026.

Although unconfirmed by Dana White as of yet, it has been strong hinted online that Kayla Harrison will defend her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title against former two-division queen and greatest female MMA fighter of all time, Amanda Nunes.

Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes Confirmed For UFC White House Card

It has been confirmed that Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes will take place on the upcoming UFC White House card next June.

There have been strong rumours of this UFC White House card, following President Donald Trump announcing earlier this year that he wanted to stage a UFC event on the South Lawn.

Since then, Dana White has confirmed the UFC White House card will happen to celebrate 250 years of American independence. An official date it yet to be confirmed, but the card is expected to take place in June in Washington DC.

There have been no fights confirmed by the UFC President himself, but there have been several rumours. Conor McGregor has expressed an interest in returning to the octagon on the UFC White House card, as has the great Jon Jones.

However, the first fight to be officially confirmed, albeit not by White himself, is that of Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes.

Harrison won the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title after submitting Juliana Pena in two rounds at UFC 316, with Nunes getting in the cage to face-off with the new champion straight after her victory.

Nunes retired from MMA following her UFC 289 victory over Irene Aldana, but looks to get back into the octagon for a super-fight with Harrison at the rumoured UFC White House card next June.

‘Lioness’ is widely regarded as the greatest female MMA fighter to ever live, having dominated the 135-pound division before retiring. She also won the belt up at featherweight too, beating great fighters such as Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg to name but a few.

Should the UFC White House card get officially announced by Dana White in the coming weeks, expect UFC betting sites to bill this as a real 50/50 match-up.

Who Will Be The Harrison vs Nunes Favourite At UFC White House?

With Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes set to feature on the upcoming UFC White House card next June on the South Lawn, MMA fans are wondering what odds they could get on the contest.

Given her inactivity having been retired since June 2023, Nunes could well be the underdog for one of the first times in her career when she challenges Harrison for her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title.

That being said, the odds will be extremely close. If Nunes is the underdog, it will only be marginally. Early odds suggest that the champion could open as a 4/6 favourite, with ‘Lioness’ the 13/10 underdog.

This shows that despite being out of action for so long, bookmakers are still giving the greatest female MMA fighter of all time a huge chance of becoming the first person to beat Harrison inside the UFC octagon.

Should Harrison vs Nunes get announced in the coming weeks by UFC President Dana White, expect odds on the contest to open fairly close to the odds mentioned above.

Time will tell what happens on fight night as Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes looks set to feature as one of the star attractions at the rumoured UFC White House card next June.
