Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur will travel to the London Stadium for their Premier League Matchday 4 appointment with Graham Potter’s West Ham United.
Spurs opened the 2025/26 Premier League campaign with back-to-back wins over Burnley (3-0) and Manchester City (2-0). Their streak ended on Matchday 3, as Bournemouth beat them 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In the aftermath of the defeat, Tottenham Hotspur are 5/1 with UK betting sites to secure a top four finish in the Premier League.
Spurs Eyeing Away Win at West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur had a brisk start to the season under Thomas Frank. After a claiming a routine win over newly promoted Burnley, they beat Manchester City away at the Etihad Stadium. They became only the third team this season, alongside Liverpool and Arsenal, to win their first two Premier League games.
The Lilywhites, however, could not extend their winning streak to Matchday 3. Evanilson’s fifth-minute strike was enough to give Bournemouth a 1-0 win at Tottenham. The win was also fully deserved, as Spurs were outplayed and outshot by the visitors. Over the course of the game, Bournemouth recorded 19 shots, while Tottenham only had four.
Fans will expect Spurs to come up with a response against West Ham. But judging by the Hammers’ most recent showing, it may not be a walk in the park.

West Ham suffered three consecutive defeats at the start of the 2025/26 season. They lost 3-0 to Sunderland and 5-1 to Chelsea in the Premier League and exited the EFL Cup following a 3-2 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On Premier League Matchday 3, West Ham bounced back with a bang. They claimed a 3-0 win away at Nottingham Forest. All of their goals came in the final 10 minutes of the match.
Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring in the 84th minute, Lucas Paqueta doubled their advantage in the 87th minute (penalty), and Callum Wilson made it 3-0 in injury time.
The win reportedly saved Graham Potter’s job, but he must continue to deliver to remain in the hot seat.
