The Ryder Cup 2025 is just around the corner, with 24 of the world’s best golfers facing off in the biggest team golf event on the planet.
Europe emphatically beat USA two years ago in Rome at the last Ryder Cup, with this year’s event back on US soil. But where exactly is the Ryder Cup 2025, when is it being played and who is representing both teams?
When Is The Ryder Cup 2025?
The world of golf will come to a standstill at the end of the month as the 2025 Ryder Cup takes place from the 26-28 September.
Some of the world’s best players such as Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will tee it up for the 45th Ryder Cup later this month.
Prior to the event, USA are marginal 4/6 favourites with golf betting sites to win the trophy, with Europe priced at 6/5 to retain the Ryder Cup and 6/4 to win it outright again.
Golf fans are in for a treat in what is always a compelling spectacle of world-class golf. Friday (26th) and Saturday (27th) will consist of two four-ball and foursome matches, with all 12 singles matches then being played on Sunday (28th).
With the 2025 Ryder Cup being played in New Y0rk, there is a six-hour time difference to the UK. This means that the morning sessions will begin at approximately 1pm BST, with the afternoon sessions kicking off at around 6pm BST on Friday and Saturday.
The 12 singles matches on Sunday are expected to get underway at around 3pm BST.
The last time Europe won the Ryder Cup on US soil was back in 2012 at Medinah Country Club. Labelled the ‘Miracle At Medinah’, Europe trailed 10-6 heading into the singles matches, but won 8.5 points out of 12 on Sunday to win the Ryder Cup outright.
Since then however, Team USA have won the last two Ryder Cup’s on US soil in emphatic fashion.
Where Is The Ryder Cup 2025?
All eyes are on the 2025 Ryder Cup, which is now less than two weeks away as all the best golfers in the world look to win the coveted team event for their nation.
Team Europe dominated the last Ryder Cup at Marco Simone two years ago in Rome, with Team USA out for revenge this time around on home soil.
This year, the 2025 Ryder Cup will be played at Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York.
Located on Long Island, Bethpage Black in Bethpage State Park is a par 70 golf course with 125-feet of elevation. It first opened in in 1936 and has hosted several major championships and big golf tournaments over the years.
The last major to be played at Bethpage Black was the 2019 PGA Championship, which was won by American Brooks Koepka. It also hosted the US Open in both 2002 and 2009, with Tiger Woods and Lucas Glover winning respectively.
It has also hosted the Barclays tournament on a couple of occasions.

Who Is Playing In The Ryder Cup?
A total of 24 of the world’s best golfers from America and Europe will compete in the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York from 26-28 September.
Both Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley have their full team picked, with all of the biggest names in world golf set to take part in the 45th Ryder Cup.
Both Bradley and Donald have confirmed their five vice-captains too.
Thomas Bjorn, Francesco Molinari, Edoardo Moliani, Jose Maria Olazabal and Alex Noren will all assist Donald and Team Europe as vice captains.
Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson, Kevin Kisner, Brandt Snedker and Gary Woodland have been confirmed as Bradley’s vice-captains for Team USA.
Team Europe
For the second Ryder Cup in succession, Luke Donald will lead Team Europe at Bethpage Black.
His team of 12 European golf stars consists of multiple major champions, big names and consistent players on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.
Career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy is the standout name for Europe, as is FedEx Cup winner Tommy Fleetwood and Spanish golfing sensation Jon Rahm.

Team USA
Keegan Bradley will lead Team USA at the 2025 Ryder Cup.
After missing out on a place in Zach Johnson’s team two years ago in Rome, Bradley has the chance to bring the Ryder Cup back to America, only this time as non-playing captain.
His team of 12 consists of world number one and dominant force Scottie Scheffler, who recently made history in Round 1 of the Tour Championship.
The remainder of the American team also consists of multiple major champions Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau amongst others.
