Hamzah Sheeraz vs Christian Mbilli has been confirmed with an official announcement imminent for huge super-middleweight clash.
Mbilli will put his WBC Interim World Super-Middleweight Title on the line against Sheeraz in early 2026.
Hamzah Sheeraz vs Christian Mbilli CONFIRMED
Although official confirmation is yet to come from either party, it seems that Hamzah Sheeraz vs Christian Mbilli is all but confirmed.
Both fighters were in action recently, with Sheeraz stopping former world title challenger Edgar Berlanga inside five rounds on his debut up at super-middleweight.
Mbilli on the other hand underperformed massively, drawing with Lester Martinez in September. Now, it seems that Mbilli vs Sheeraz could be next in a huge clash in the first portion of 2026.
This alights with what Sheeraz revealed on social media a matter of weeks ago, where Sheeraz teased a huge fight with ‘big news’ coming soon.
The big news could well be this super-middleweight showdown with Christian Mbilli for the WBC World Super-Middleweight Title.
Mbilli still holds the interim WBC crown, despite not winning his last fight. The full WBC World Super-Middleweight Title is of course held by Terence Crawford, who is the undisputed king of the 168-pound division.
This rumoured Mbilli vs Sheeraz fight is certainly a big one with huge implications on the world stage. The winner of this match-up would be in prime position for a shot at Crawford’s undisputed titles.
Although official odds are yet to be revealed, boxing betting sites will likely view this as a 50/50 match-up. If there is to be a favourite, it will likely be the British fighter in Hamzah Sheeraz.

When Will Sheeraz vs Mbilli Take Place?
With reports that Christian Mbilli vs Hamzah Sheeraz is confirmed and is set to be officially announced imminently, a date and venue are likely to be announced soon too.
As of today, nothing has been confirmed by either Queensberry Promotions or from Team Mbilli. However, it is worth noting that both fighters fought on cards that involved His Excellency Turki Alalshikh.
Alalshikh has previously revealed that Sheeraz is one of his favourite fighters, regularly staging him on huge Riyadh Season shows as well as being an ambassador for Saudi Arabia.
Mbilli on the other hand fought on the Canelo vs Crawford undercard in Las Vegas last time out, which was a super-fight promoted by UFC President Dana White and His Excellency combined.
In theory, the Mbilli vs Sheeraz match-up could be easy to make, provided Turki Alalshikh is involved.
It will likely land in the New Year on a huge Riyadh Season show, perhaps even as the main event. If not a main event, it will likely be a compelling chief support with the WBC Interim World Super-Middleweight Title on the line.
Stay tuned for official confirmation on a date and venue in due course.
Who Will Is The Sheeraz vs Mbilli Favourite?
After Frank Warren confirmed Hamzah Sheeraz would move up to super-middleweight following his draw with Carlos Adames for the WBC World Middleweight Title, the 26-year-old put in a clinical display on his 168-pound debut.
The now 22-0-1 Brit stopped former ‘Canelo’ opponent and world title challenger Edgar Berlanga in one-sided fashion, knocking the loud American out inside five round.
Christian Mbilli on the other hand drew with Lester Martinez in a fight he was expected to win. Judging by their last two performances, you’d have to slightly favour Sheeraz going into this match-up.
The age old saying in boxing circles that you’re only as good as your last fight is bang on. In that case, Sheeraz’s performance was far more impressive than Mbilli’s, thus he has to be the favourite.
That being said, Mbilli has fought at world level for longer and has never been defeated inside the professional ring. Both men are huge punchers with a combined 42 knockouts in their 51 wins.
So, price-setters will likely favour this fight to end inside the distance either way. Time will tell how Hamzah Sheeraz vs Christian Mbilli plays out and who exactly the pre-fight favourite will be once the bout is officially announced.
