Players to Target for FPL Gameweek 11

Goalkeeper

David Raya (Arsenal) – £5.8 million

Arsenal Goalkeeper David Raya

If you have the funds, you cannot go wrong with Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. The Premier League leaders will face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in Gameweek 11, and have a 55% chance of keeping a clean sheet.

Mikel Arteta’s side are on a 10-game winning run in all competitions, with their latest success coming against Slavia Prague (3-0) on Tuesday. Arsenal have not conceded a goal in their last eight games.

Raya has scored 52 FPL points this season, which makes him the highest-scoring goalkeeper in the game. Considering how defensively solid Arsenal are, we recommend investing in him.

Defenders

Arsenal centre-back Gabriel has been the standout in defence this season, owned by more than 41.5% FPL managers. He has scored 80 points and leads the best defence in the division.

Reece James (Chelsea) – £5.5 million

Chelsea face bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 11. Wolves have scored only seven goals this season and conceded 22. They have yet to register a win in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea have a 47% chance of keeping a clean sheet against Wolves. So it makes sense to invest in one of their defenders.

Captain Reece James is our #1 choice, as he can be effective at both ends. He has accumulated 26 points in FPL in his last three outings, outscoring all his teammates. He has only recently found his stride, and it seems more significant returns are on the cards.

Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth) – £5.0 million

Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi is our second pick this week. The Cherries have a decent set of fixtures coming up, with them facing Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Sunderland in the next three Gameweeks.

Senesi is nailed on to start, regularly racks up Defensive Contribution points, and also carries some attacking threat (2 assists). He has 56 points to his name and is owned by 26.1% of FPL bosses.

Midfielders

Marcos Senesi’s teammate Antoine Semenyo has been the highest scoring midfielder in the FPL this season. He has scored 75 points and is in 64.4% squads ahead of Gameweek 11.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest) – £7.3 million

Morgan Gibbs-White was Nottingham Forest’s standout performer in their 2-2 draw with Manchester United in Gameweek 10. The Forest captain, who has been linked with a move to Man United, scored the first goal and created two chances.

Nottingham Forest face Leeds United at home this weekend, and we expect Gibbs-White to make an impact. He has averaged 1.6 xGI (expected goal involvements) in the last five games and should get openings against a Leeds side who have conceded 12 goals in their last five away matches.

Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace) – £6.6 million

Crystal Palace midfielder Ismaila Sarr is an excellent sub-£7.0 million option in midfield. He has the highest non-penalty xG in his team and only trails Jean-Philippe Mateta in shots and big chances.

Palace face Brighton & Hove Albion at home this weekend have trips to Wolves and Burnley coming up. A big payout could be in store for Sarr owners.

Attackers

Erling Haaland has been leaps and bounds above the competition this season. The Manchester City goal machine has scored 98 points  and is the most-owned forward with 69.9% TSB. If you already have Haaland in your team, here are a couple of players to consider for Gameweek 11.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea) – £7.4 million

João Pedro

Joao Pedro returned to form with a match-winning performance against Tottenham Hotspur in GW 10. He scored the only goal of the game and finished with an xGI of 1.99.

This weekend, Chelsea take on the Wolves, the most generous team in the division. Last weekend, an out-of-sorts Fulham put three goals past the Wolverhampton defenders. It will be a surprise if Pedro does not get an opportunity or two against Vitor Pereira’s side.

Danny Welbeck (Brighton & Hove Albion) – £6.5 million

Owned by 8.2% managers, Danny Welbeck has been a solid differential pick over the last few weeks. The former Manchester United man has scored 43 points in FPL this season, with 37 points coming in the last five games.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be up against a gritty Crystal Palace side this weekend. However, form takes precedence over fixtures, and Welbeck happens to one of the most in-form players in the division. If you have the funds, the £6.5 million gamble is well worth taking.

Best Captain Pick for Gameweek 11

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Manchester City star Erling Haaland Is Likely to Score Against Liverpool

It is a boring pick, but we simply cannot see beyond the man of the moment, Erling Haaland. The Norwegian is on a dream run, scoring 13 goals in 10 games. He is averaging 1.13 xGI this season and there seems to be no stopping him.

Liverpool are a mighty opponent, but Arne Slot’s side have not been solid at the back this season. They have conceded 14 goals, by far the most in the top four. Manchester City, meanwhile, have the best attack in the league, with them scoring 20 times already.

According to bookmakers, Haaland has a 49.5% chance of scoring against Liverpool, and we cannot risk missing out.
