Sources tell us that Caio Borralho vs Michael Venom Page is being targeted for UFC 324 on January 24 in what will be the UFC’s first numbered card to kickstart their new broadcast deal with streaming giants Paramount+.
Although unconfirmed, it looks like Borralho vs Page will feature on the UFC 324 main card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
There has been nothing official from UFC President Dana White himself as to who will headline, but Ilia Topuria vs Paddy Pimblett has been confirmed for UFC 324 and is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
With Topuria vs Pimblett serving as the main event for the UFC Lightweight Title, it seems that Borralho vs Page is being targeted for one of the UFC 324 main card fights for this January 24 mega-event.
Borralho is currently ranked #7 at middleweight, with Page ranked at #11 at 185-pounds since moving up from welterweight.
Borralho lost for the very first time in the UFC last time out to Nassourdine Imavov, who looks like he may well challenge Khamzat Chimaev for the UFC Middleweight Title next. Prior to that defeat, the Brazilian MMA star was riding a 16-fight winning run with seven of these wins coming inside the UFC.
Page on the other hand has been moving between 170-pounds at welterweight and at middleweight, winning his last two contests up at 185-pounds. The Englishman has only fought four times in the UFC, with his only defeat coming to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 last June in a fight that was extremely close.
