Turkish side Fenerbahce are studying the possibility of signing Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to Wednesday’s Premier League transfer rumours.
Wednesday’s Premier League Transfer Rumours
Arsenal Could Sell Gabriel Martinelli to Fenerbahce in January

Arsenal are reportedly looking to sell four players in the winter transfer window, including Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian winger has been offered to Fenerbahce, who are looking to strengthen their attack in January.
Fenerbahce are currently evaluating the option of signing Martinelli. However, it could be a costly operation due to interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Fenerbahce may also have a cheaper alternative in Jadon Sancho. According to Tuesday’s Premier League transfer news, Sancho recently travelled to Istanbul with his manager, reportedly to talk with the club’s representatives.
Martinelli has had limited playing time in the Premier League this season. Mikel Arteta has allowed him only 216 minutes of football across eight games. He has scored one goal.
In the Champions League, Martinelli has delivered an impressive return of three goals in as many matches. His European form could entice Fenerbahce to take the chance in January.
Barcelona’s Erling Haaland Dream Takes a Hit

With Robert Lewandowski in the final months of his contract, Barcelona are in the market for a replacement.
They have long admired Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland and see him as Lewandowski’s ideal successor.
According to El Nacional, their dream of signing Haaland has recently taken a hit.
The Norwegian striker, who has broken the World Cup qualifying record by scoring 16 goals in eight games, is enjoying life at Man City. He intends to remain at the club for the foreseeable future and has removed any buyout clause from his contract.
Since Haaland’s contract does not expire until June 2034, the absence of a buyout clause gives Man City full control of negotiations.
Pep Guardiola is delighted with Haaland’s performances and recently dismissed suggestions that he could leave the club in the near future.
Brentford Set Price for Kevin Schade Amid Bundesliga Links

Several Bundesliga clubs are reportedly interested in Brentford winger Kevin Schade. Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be in the running for the 23-year-old.
Brentford do not want to sell Schade, but will reconsider if a lucrative enough bid arrives for the German international. The Bees want around £45–50million for the winger.
Schade, who has been at the club since the summer of 2023, primarily plays on the left flank. However, he has shown quality on the right as well as down the middle.
He has enjoyed a solid start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, scoring three goals and providing an assist in 11 appearances. His contract with Brentford expires in June 2028.
Five English Clubs Show Interest in Real Madrid Striker Gonzalo Garcia

According to Mundo Deportivo, Leeds United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa, and Sunderland are all interested in Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Garcia.
Garcia earned a spot in the senior team after scoring four goals in six Club World Cup matches.
However, Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has been reluctant to use him this season, allowing him just 108 minutes of football in nine games across competitions.
The 21-year-old wants to play more frequently, and five English clubs have shown interest in giving him the opportunity.
Leeds and Brighton tried to sign Garcia in the summer as well, but Los Blancos rejected their bids. This time, they could be successful with an offer in the £20 million region.
However, a January transfer looks unlikely, as Endrick could also be on the move. If the Brazilian departs, Alonso is unlikely to sell Garcia and compromise his team’s depth.
Manchester United Make Elliot Anderson a Priority for January

Manchester United have reportedly made Elliot Anderson their priority target for the winter transfer window. Ruben Amorim wishes to deploy him as part of the double-pivot in his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.
Nottingham Forest, who are involved in a relegation skirmish this season, do not want to sell such a key player.
According to TeamTalk, Forest will only enter negotiations if they receive an offer in the region of £120million.
However, Man United are a lot more optimistic in terms of pricing. The Red Devils believe that any bid in the £60 million region could be enough to complete the signing.
Anderson has been one of the standout performers for Forest this season. He has scored one goal and provided an assist in 11 Premier League games.
His contract with Forest expires in June 2029.
