Relegation threatened Leeds United and Burnley are both keeping tabs on Bristol City star Anis Mehmeti.
The 24-year-old broke a 10-year record at the weekend with three assists in the victory over Swansea, which has attracted attention from several Premier League clubs.
Leeds Transfer News: Bristol City’s Anis Mehmeti On Radar Of Premier League Strugglers
Leeds United fell into the Premier League drop zone for the first time this season after losing 2-1 at home to Aston Villa, with Daniel Farke’s side in serious danger of relegation back to the Championship if results don’t improve dramatically.
The Elland Road outfit have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches, with five losses in their last six which includes three on the spin.
Leeds’ poor form has resulted in boss Farke becoming the odds-on favourite to be the next manager casualty in the latest Premier League sack race odds market at odds of 4/7.
In order to save their season, the Yorkshire side will have to go shopping in January in an attempt to remain in England’s top flight.
One of Leeds’ problems has been creating chances and scoring goals, which is something Bristol City’s Anis Mehmeti is doing on a regular basis in the Championship.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder could be the perfect January signing for the Whites, who will be looking to bring in affordable players to bolster their squad and help improve their quality in the final third.
The creative midfielder is out of contract at the Robins in July, hence why struggling Premier League clubs like Leeds will likely explore options on Mehmeti and see how talk between him and his current employers play out over the course of the next two months.
Leeds evidently need to add quality in attack, and bringing Mehmeti into the fold in January would most definitely aid their survival hopes.
Though there is belief with the right package, Mehmeti would also stick around to help with the rebuild should Leeds fail to retain their place in the Premier League.

Burnley Also Interested In Securing Anis Mehmeti Signature This January
It isn’t just Leeds United who are keeping tabs on Bristol City star Anis Mehmeti. Fellow Premier League strugglers Burnley are also rumoured to be keeping tabs.
With less than eight months left on his current contract at the Robins, Mehmeti would be a cheaper option for the likes of Burnley and Leeds, both of whom need to seriously up their game in the final third and begin to pick up points if they are to remain Premier League outfits.
The next Burnley manager betting odds suggest that Gary O’Neil could take over at Turf Moor if results don’t improve quickly for the Clarets, but bringing in a player of Mehmeti’s quality this January could well save Scott Parker his job.
With Burnley sitting second from bottom of the top flight, relegation seems likely. However, if they were able to bring Mehmeti in this January but still dropped back down to the Championship, the Albanian would certainly be a key figure in helping them gain instant promotion back to the Premier League.
