With I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here coming to an end this Sunday, the expected favourite and winner AngryGinge is about to hit the big-time.
Broadcasters and football media bosses are reportedly scrambling to sign the football video games content buff – who boasts a combined six million subscribers online.
The name Morgan Burtwistle doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but nickname AngryGinge does at least add a bit of intrigue to anyone that might not be familiar with the football video games content creator.
However, AngryGinge has become more of a household name over the last few weeks as ITV bosses plonked him in the I’m A Celebrity jungle – where he’s been a big hit Down Under.
And according to the betting experts at Sportscasting, the I’m A Celebrity betting odds are now making him favourite to win.
AngryGinge Expected To Be ‘Smiling’ When He Leaves The Jungle
As the I’m A Celeb class of 2025 start to thin out this week, AngryGinge is expected to be smiling come Sunday – with experts saying he’ll be the third King Of The Jungle in as many years.
With Sam Thompson winning in 2023 and last year McFly singer Danny Jones sitting on the I’m A Celebrity throne.
AngryGinge is now odds-on to win, with his trials rival and best friend in the show Aitch next best at 5/2 to try as the pair are set to battle it out to get the ultimate bragging rights.
The I’m A Celebrity final will be on Sunday 7th December.
However, win, lose or draw, football streamer AngryGinge is going to hit the big-time as soon as he leaves the Aussie jungle.
Broadcasters Scrambling To Sign I’m A Celebrity Favourite AngryGinge
AngryGinge has been far from that in the jungle, but the video games streamer landed his nickname after becoming famous for shouting at the screen during his online live football matches.
The Manchester United lover has been entertaining his followers on all the big social media platforms since March 2021 and now has over six million combined followers.
Including two million disciples on his Instagram account @angryginge13. Mainly seeing him playing FIFA against others and also taking on well-known stars like Wayne Rooney and Luke Litter.
Before entering the jungle, football fans also got a taste of AngryGinge after playing in the annual Soccer Aid match.
However, with Ginge’s growing popularity, thanks to his time in the jungle – he can expect many big paydays once returning to the UK.
He’s already linked with Sky Sports, being a manager of one of the Baller League sides in their popular six-a-side competition.
So could they be in pole position to sign him?
While it’s also rumoured that the BBC and now, of course, ITV, who air I’m A Celeb, are keen to sign the orange-haired star.
Earlier this week, his I’m A Celeb sidekick Aitch both joked to show legends Ant and Dec they were gunning for their hosting roles.
And even though A and D are surely irreplaceable, you certainly wouldn’t be shocked to see the pair popping up on the spin-off ITV2 show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked’ in 2026.
Regardless, one thing’s for sure – copperhead AngryGinge will certainly be coining it in after his stint Down Under.
