Eddie Hearn has named a four man hit-list for Dmitry Bivol as the light-heavyweight king builds towards a 2026 return.
Bivol hasn’t fought since defeating Artur Beterbiev in their rematch in February, but is aiming to return in style as soon as possible.
Eddie Hearn Names Four Man Hit-List For Dmitry Bivol
Matchroom Boxing kingpin Eddie Hearn has named a four man hit-list for Dmitry Bivol with the light-heavyweight king set to return in the New Year.
Bivol hasn’t fought since February 22 earlier this year when defeating Artur Beterbiev on points in their highly-anticipated rematch, meaning it will likely be over a year since his last fight whenever he does lace up the gloves again.
The Russian has solidified himself as the best 175-pound fighter on the planet, but still has unfinished business with fierce rival Beterbiev to deal with. A trilogy between the pair is contracted, but an official date is yet to be confirmed.
In the meantime, Hearn has weighed-in with his thoughts on Bivol’s next fight, and who he wants his man to share the ring with in his next few fights.

Whether or not Beterbiev is indeed next for Bivol is kind of irrelevant, with the former undisputed light-heavyweight champion included as one of the four names Hearn wants next for his man.
Right now, Bivol currently holds three of the four major belts at 175-pounds, as well as the coveted Ring belt too. The only belt the 34-year-old doesn’t have in his possession is the WBC crown, which now belongs to David Benavidez.
Bivol did previously hold the WBC crown when he became undisputed last time out, but has since relinquished the title. Benavidez happens to be one of the four names on Hearn’s four man hit-list, alongside Beterbiev, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Jai Opetaia.

Hearn Targets Benavidez, Beterbiev, Canelo and Opetaia For Dmitry Bivol
Dmitry Bivol’s net worth is estimated at $10m+, but his fortune could be set to grow even further if he is able to secure fights with some of the names on Eddie Hearn’s four man hit-list.
Should Bivol fight all of these four names going forward, he is sure to make an absolute fortune. A trilogy with Artur Beterbiev is another huge payday for the 34-year-old, as is a rematch with former foe ‘Canelo’.
Despite ‘Canelo’ losing last time out to Terence Crawford, the Mexican remains arguably the biggest cash-cow in the sport. A rematch between Bivol and ‘Canelo’, which Bivol and Hearn believe is easy work, is sure to be his biggest payday.
An undisputed clash with David Benavidez is another colossal match-up. Benavidez now has the only belt Bivol doesn’t, so the Russian may well want to become undisputed for a second time and earn back the WBC crown.

A trilogy with Beterbiev is contracted and highly likely to happen, which is another major money spinner for Bivol.
A move up to cruiserweight has been mentioned by promoter Hearn, with Jai Opetaia the fourth man on their hit-list. Opetaia is also promoted by Hearn and Matchroom, so that fight could be easy to make on paper, but would involve a 25-pound jump from Bivol up to cruiserweight.
With Bivol’s record currently 24-1 as the single best light-heavyweight on the planet, he has a whole host of options going forward. He is one of the best fighters on the planet pound-for-pound, making him an attractive proposition for anyone.
If each of the four names on Eddie Hearn’s hit-list for Bivol come to fruition in the next couple of years, boxing fans are in for an absolute treat.
