Mr Vegas has agreed a two-year extension of its partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation that will see the casino brand retain title sponsorship of the Grand Slam of Darts and the Nordic Darts Masters.
The Immense Group-owned operator first stepped up to the oche in 2023 as sponsor of both tournaments.
The 2026 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts is scheduled for November 14-22 at Wolverhampton’s WV Active Aldersley.
Luke Litter is unbeaten at the event, winning on his debut in 2024 and retaining the Eric Bristow Trophy last year after a thrilling 16-11 win over 2023 champion and great rival Luke Humphries.
The 2026 Mr Vegas Nordic Darts Masters takes place in Copenhagen from June 5-6.
Worries Over Gambling Tax Hikes
It is an important strategical move at a time when the gambling industry is concerned about the effects of the UK government’s gambling tax hikes being introduced over the next two years.
“Darts is the most engaging and accessible sport in the UK and across Europe,” said Marco Trucco, Chief Marketing Officer at Immense Group.
“The Grand Slam and Nordic Masters play a central role in that growth.
“We believe in long-term partnerships built around entertainment and consistency.”
As a result of Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ autumn Budget, remote gaming duty will increase from 21% to 40% from April this year.
A new general betting duty rate of 25%, up from 15%, will be imposed from April 2027.
“Unfortunately, the new gaming duty will hit the sport leagues and teams that chose to partner with regulated, UK-facing operators, and reward the organisations who are happy to take money from anyone,” said Trucco.
“In that context, our decision to extend our partnership with the PDC is a statement of confidence in the future of legal and safe online gambling in the UK.”
Mr Vegas Growing Its User Base With Luke Humphries
World No 2 Humphries has appeared in adverts for Mr Vegas and the online casino brand has also been shrewd with its TV sponsorships.
While the Grand Slam of Darts was airing on Sky Sports last November, Mr Vegas also sponsored ITV’s Big Brother.

There was one week where the broadcasts ran simultaneously which Trucco credits for boosting the brand’s engagement.
“The overlap with the Grand Slam of Darts created a perfect storm,” Trucco said in an interview with iGaming Expert.
“We were present across the biggest entertainment show on ITV2 and the biggest sports event on Sky Sports Main Event.
“That visibility delivered our highest-ever acquisition week and solidified our position as a major player in the UK market.”
Mr Vegas landed its first front-of-shirt-sponsorship with a football club this season, sponsoring Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
Tuning In To The Popularity Of Darts
Littler’s march to the final of the World Championship as a 16-year-old created huge public interest.
It increased the momentum gained from Premier League Darts and the popularity of the Worlds played at Christmas every year.

Littler’s win over Gian van Veen in the 2026 World Darts Championship final peaked at 2.5 million viewers on Sky Sports.
Total viewership was 13% up year-on-year and generated 51.2 million viewing hours across the three weeks of the tournament.
It was also double the audience that tuned in to Sky Sports for the event four years ago.
Title sponsor Paddy Power raised £1.25 million for Prostate Cancer UK based around fan activations at the Alexandra Palace showpiece.
That underlined the huge public engagement with the sport.
