A top-class jumping card in Ireland this weekend – so don’t miss Andy Newton’s Fairyhouse racing tips for the three main races, that include a fascinating clash between Ballyburn and Teahupoo in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle. Â
Fairyhouse Horse Racing Tips: Sunday 30th November 2025Â
After some cracking action at Newbury and Newcastle in the UK on Saturday, the high level jump racing this weekend switches to Ireland on Sunday at Fairyhouse.
It’s an eight-race card that gets going at 12:05pm and runs through till 3:41pm – but the three feature races are sandwiched in the middle of the fixture.
First up is the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle (1:35pm), a race that will see the promising Love Me Tender back in action.
Who is already one of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival favourites, propping up the betting for both the Supreme and Turners Novices’ Hurdle.
Then at 2:05pm, we’ve the Drinmore Novice Chase and all eyes will be on the exciting Romeo Coolio as Gordon Elliott looks to win the race for a ninth time.
The Graded action ends at 2:36pm with the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle, in what looks a fabulous head-to-head clash between the two-time winner Teahupoo and Ballyburn.
Love Me Tender To Hit The Right Notes In Royal BondÂ

Course winner Koktail Brut was an easy winner at Punchestown earlier this month but this will be harder, as this Gordon Elliott runner only really had one horse to beat that last day.
Elliott also has 17 length Naas scorer Port Authority, who looks a nice prospect.
The pair will be trying to give Elliott a fifth success in the race.
Eachtotheirown did it well at Galway last time too and the same applies to Gameball for Henry De Bromhead, who has never won this race.
However, all eyes will be on the Willie Mullins-trained LOVE ME TENDER.Â
Mullins loves this race – winning it ten times – and this JP McManus-owned four year-old is already figuring well in the markets for both the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (20/1) and the Turners’ Novices’ Hurdle (16/1).
He heads here having won all three starts, one in a NH Flat race and two over hurdles – the last an easy success in a Grade Three at Tipperary at the start of October.
Does have to give 3lbs away as a result of that graded win, but he’s been freshened up since with this race in mind.
His jumping is “electric” said Paul Townend after his last win at Tipperary and should stay further too.
This race will be another test for him but the son of Doctor Dino looks another exciting prospect for Mullins to got to war with this season.
So Love Me Tender can be ‘King’ for Mullins again in this race.

Romeo To Prove Too ‘Coolio’ In DrinmoreÂ
2:05 – BAR 1 Betting Drinmore Novice Chase (Grade 1) (4yo+) 2m4½f RTE2
Gold Dancer was a good winner at Tipperary last time and Ol Man Dingle did it well to win at Cork.
However, both have a bit to find on hurdles ratings with ROMEO COOLIO, who was super impressive on his first start over fences at Down Royal last month.
He, of course, finished third in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle last season and last Christmas took the Grade One Future Champions Novice Hurdle last term too.
Romeo jumped well and slammed a fair sort in Koktail Divin on his chase debut and can only improve over fences after that.
Elliott also has a top record in this race with eight wins – his last 12 months ago with Croke Park.
While he’s also a winner here at Fairyhouse – when winning a NH Flat race here back in January 2024.
He’s already around 10/1 for the Arkle Novices’ Chase, behind Kopek Des Bordes (7/4) and Lulamba (4/1), but a win here will see those odds get a lot closer to that pair.

Ballyburn To Get Career Back On Track In Hatton’s GraceÂ
2:36 – BAR 1 Betting Hatton’s Grace Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo+) 2m4f RTE2
Just the six runners here but a must-see renewal of the Hatton’s Grace, that looks to be a straight shootout between BALLYBURN and the two-time winner Teahupoo.
It’s a fascinating match-up that will see Teahupoo trying to regain his crown after being beaten by Lossiemouth here 12 months ago.
While Ballyburn, who is four-from-five over hurdles, didn’t quite cut the mustard over fences last season and connections are reverting back to the smaller obstacles.
Gordon Elliott, who trains Teahupoo, has said he’s got him as fit as he can for his bid to win this race for a third time.
But over this 2m4f trip, you just feel the former Stayers’ Hurdle winner might be prone to something with a bit more pace again – like last year.
And that horse is BALLYBURN, who is currently around 5/1 with Teahupoo for the Stayers’ Hurdle next March.
Those against the Mullins horse might say his only defeat over hurdles came here at Fairyhouse (Dec 2023), but that was over two miles and he progressed well after that defeat.
With one of his highlights coming in the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle at the 2024 Festival (watch below).
It’s 5-4 to Elliott over Mullins in this race, but the Closutton handler is taken to level things up here.
With Ballyburn the call to get his career back on track.
