Carlos Alcaraz documentary release date

Since being announced by streaming giants Netflix, fans have been eager to find out the Carlos Alcaraz documentary release date. The man himself recently revealed all in a unique announcement, and a peek behind the curtain will be on our screens sooner than expected.

When Does the Netflix Carlos Alcaraz Documentary Release?

Netflix’s foray into the world of elite sport shows no signs of slowing down.

Having already lifted the lid on what it takes to be a professional tennis player with the now-discontinued ‘Break Point’, the streaming service are turning their attention to a one-man show.

Netflix has been allowed behind-the-scenes access to four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz, chronicling the Spaniard’s hugely successful 2024 season.

Titled ‘Carlos Alcaraz: My Way’, anticipation has been palpable since a first look was teased back in February, but fans were left in the dark as to when it would arrive on Netflix.

However, in a somewhat left-field but no doubt creative announcement, Alcaraz seemingly confirmed the documentary release date.

It has become customary for the sport’s youngest ever number one to get a new tattoo marking each of his Grand Slam triumphs, which now stands at four.

The only event missing from the collection is the Australian Open, which would of course complete a career Grand Slam. He faces a race against time to break compatriot Rafael Nadal’s record as the youngest player to achieve that feat, but a win in Melbourne within the next two seasons would hand him the record.

With his penchant for ink well-documented, Netflix and the man himself joined forces for a unique Carlos Alcaraz documentary release date announcement.

The ‘23.4.25’ etched onto his forearm is – by all accounts – temporary ink and reveals when the documentary will be released; hats off to Netflix’s marketing department on that one.

On April 23rd, 2025 viewers will get to see how the 21-year-old navigates the weight of expectation of being a young Grand Slam champion.

2024 saw Alcaraz clinch back-to-back majors at the French Open and Wimbledon, but it could also feature a spate of intriguing off-court storylines such as Jannik Sinner’s doping scandal, Rafa Nadal’s retirement and a relentless ATP Tour schedule.
