Celtic host St Mirren on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership season as the side’s fixtures are confirmed ahead of the new campaign.
Brendan Rodgers’ men get their title defence underway on Saturday, 3 August at 4:30pm.
That match, along with the following week’s trip to Aberdeen and the first Old Firm clash with Rangers on 31 August, will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The first derby day of the season will take place at Ibrox, with a midday kickoff against Rangers.
It will be a long wait in Scottish football terms for the return fixture.
Rangers do not make the trip to Celtic Park until 3 January.
Fans of both sides will be hoping for less controversy this season, though.
In May, a Celtic ultras group sought legal advice after the police’s handling of fans before the Old Firm derby.
Other big fixtures for the Hoops include Hibernian, whom they play at home on 27 September and away on 29 November.

Last season’s successful campaign made it four Scottish league titles in a row for Celtic, and 13 in the last 14 years.
They also enter the Champions League, though still need to get through one qualifying round to reach the league phase.
Unsurprisingly, they are comfortable favourites to lift yet another Scottish Premiership.
The best UK betting sites currently have Celtic at 2/5, with nearest challengers Rangers at 9/4.
But with a US consortium completing a Rangers takeover, the challenge from Celtic’s rivals is likely to increase.
