There is no rest for Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien this weekend as the deadly-duo are in action in France early on Sunday evening for the Group One Grand Prix de Paris. Which is a race the Ballydoyle handler has won five times in the past.
Aidan O’Brien Hunts Sixth Grand Prix de Paris Win With Trinity College
Just six runners for Sunday’s Group One Grand Prix de Paris, but with €283,339 there’s plenty at stake.
Of the entries all-bar-one are trained in France, with Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore looking to upset the apple cart with their recent Royal Ascot scorer TRINITY COLLEGE.
This improving 3 year-old scooted away with the Group Three Hampton Court Stakes that day (watch below).
While he’s also no stranger to running in France – having also finished fourth in the French Derby in early June.
This will be his tenth career outing. Winning three of those, but this will be his first try up in trip to 1m4f.
However, this son of Dubawi certainly wasn’t stopping last time at Ascot over 1m2f, so there could be even more to come over this longer distance.
O’Brien will be hunting his sixth win in the race, while Ryan Moore has won the race twice (Japan and Kew Gardens).
The Longchamp race will be shown at 7:25pm on Sunday and shown live on Sky Sports Racing.

One of the runners taking on Trinity College in Sunday’s Grand Prix de Paris is Surabad, who is owned by the Aga Khan Stud.
This 3 year-old will be looking to give the famous owners their eighth win in the race and if jockey Mickael Barzalona can guide him home – the Aga Khan Studs will become the winning-most owners in the race.
He was last seen running a close second G3 at Chantilly, but the time before was a nice winner here at Longchamp
But that was only at Listed level, so you feel a step forward is needed on what he’s shown so far to take this.
Colin Keane Heads To Longchamp To Ride New Ground For Juddmonte
Another top Irish jockey Colin Keane is making the trip over to France on Sunday – he rides New Ground.
This son of New Bay will be known to many UK punters having run fifth in the Epsom Derby last time (watch below).
The form of that race has since been franked with the winner Lambourn going onto land the Irish Derby at the Curragh at the end of June.
