Hamzah Sheeraz - Boxing

Former world middleweight title challenger and current 168-pound contender Hamzah Sheeraz has given his Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 prediction.

Speaking in interview with Boxing News‘ online editor Steve Wellings, Sheeraz gave a somewhat surprising yet supremely confident pick for the Eubank Jr vs Benn rematch.

Hamzah Sheeraz Gives Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn Rematch Prediction

Hamzah Sheeraz is on the cusp of his second world title challenge in 2026, having previous failed to win world honours after a controversial draw with Carlos Adames for the WBC World Middleweight Title earlier this year.

Since then, Sheeraz has moved up in weight to 168-pounds, where he destroyed Edgar Berlanga in five rounds in what was an incredibly impressive performance.

There have been numerous reports about the 26-year-old’s next fight, with Sheeraz vs Christian Mbilli confirmed previously. However, it seems that fight has now been put on hold for a while.

In the meantime, the 22-0-1 super-middleweight contender has also been linked with fights against the likes of Jaime Munguia, an Edgar Berlanga rematch and even a Diego Pacheco showdown.

Whilst ticking over in the gym ahead of his next fight, Sheeraz has given his thoughts on some mammoth upcoming clashes in the world of boxing. This of course include the colossal Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn rematch on November 15.

Despite Eubank Jr winning the first fight and almost getting Benn out of there in the championship rounds, Sheeraz feels the rematch could well go the way of ‘The Destroyer’ this time around.

Not only does Sheeraz feel that Benn will right the wrongs of the first fight and get revenge on his fierce rival, but he feels that Benn will do so via emphatic knockout in the opening half of the contest.

‘Benn Inside Six Rounds’ – Hamzah Sheeraz Gives Shock Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 Pick

There has been talk in the past that Hamzah Sheeraz could fell fight Chris Eubank Jr at some stage. However, that fight looks like it’ll never happen now.

A potential fight between Sheeraz and Conor Benn was also briefly mention whilst Sheeraz was still competing at middleweight. Once again, that fight is highly unlikely given his move up in weight and Benn being a natural welterweight.

Although he won’t be fighting either man anytime soon, he has still weighed-in with a prediction for the huge Eubank Jr vs Benn rematch on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Carl Froch’s Eubank Jr vs Benn prediction is in favour of ‘The Destroyer’, which is something Sheeraz agrees with. Although Eubank Jr is the clear favourite and won the first contest back in April, Sheeraz is backing Benn to win via emphatic knockout:

“I’ve got Conor Benn to win inside six rounds. I feel like the weight will affect Eubank too much, [even more than] it affected him before as well. And it was a hard fight, it wasn’t an easy fight.

“Yeah, Conor Benn to win inside about six rounds,” concluded the 22-0-1 world super-middleweight contender in conversation with Boxing News‘ online editor Steve Wellings.

Hamzah Sheeraz’s Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 Prediction Priced @ 11/1 Odds

With Hamzah Sheeraz predicting a win for ‘The Destroyer’, his Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 prediction appeals massively at odds of 11/1.

Benn is understandably the underdog for the rematch, having lost the first fight back in April via unanimous decision. That being said, it was a close fight until Eubank pulled away in the championship rounds.

Eubank Jr is the 4/7 favourite, with Benn the 11/8 underdog with boxing betting sites. Although  these odds are massively in Eubank’s favour, Sheeraz feels November 15 will belong to Benn this time around.

Backing Benn to win via knockout, which is exactly what Sheeraz is predicting, appeals at 3/1 odds. A stoppage victory for Eubank Jr also appeals at 2/1 odds, but backing Sheeraz’s Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 prediction of a knockout within six rounds for ‘The Destroyer’ presents remarkable value for punters.

Priced at 11/1, backing Conor Benn to stop Chris Eubank Jr via KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1-6 is exactly what Sheeraz feels will happen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the rematch.

Ultimately, Hamzah Sheeraz’s Eubank Jr vs Benn prediction is a bold one. Time will tell if the 22-0-1 super-middleweight contender calls it correctly or not!

Sheeraz has teased a huge fight with ‘big news’ coming soon, so will be hoping to land a household name of his own in the months after this Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn rematch.
