Looking to extend their unbeaten run in Spain, division leaders Barcelona will host Celta Vigo at Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in LaLiga on Saturday, April 19. 

Barcelona, who have a four-point lead at the top of the LaLiga rankings, succumbed to their first defeat of 2025 in their previous outing. In the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final at Signal Iduna Park, Borussia Dortmund inflicted a 3-1 defeat upon Barca. The Blaugrana’s emphatic 4-0 victory in the first leg secured their semi-final berth, but Dortmund showed that Hansi Flick’s side were far from unbeatable.

Celta Vigo, who are in seventh place in the Spanish top-flight rankings, are one of the grittiest teams in Spain. They are nowhere near as dominant as Barca, but on their day, they are mighty difficult to beat. Celta are currently enjoying a good run of form, winning three of their last five matches in LaLiga (1 D, 1 L). In their last outing, however, Celta suffered a 2-0 defeat away at Espanyol.
