Jake Paul Boxing Record From his pro debut back in January 2020 right up until now, Jake Paul has had his name on people’s lips for years. Despite losing for the first time as a professional boxer to Tommy Fury in early 2023, Jake Paul is still one of the most recognisable and talked about characters in the entire sport. Although many fellow fighters and fans may not regard ‘The Problem Child’ as a legitimate boxer, he is certainly making waves in the pro ranks. You wouldn’t be surprised to see Paul ranked by one of the governing bodies in the not so distant future. As well as being one of the most followed boxers in the world, Jake Paul has backed it up in the ring. His only defeat in the ring was when he fought bitter rival Tommy Fury in an unbeaten clash in Saudi Arabia, losing via split decision to the Brit after eight gruelling rounds of action. Whether you like him or loath him, you cannot deny that Jake Paul is now a credible boxer and deserves credit every time he steps foot in the boxing ring. In some people’s eyes, he is just as popular as the likes of Anthony Joshua and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez. Overall, ‘The Problem Child’ boasts an impressive boxing record of 12-1 – including seven big wins coming by way of knockout. Not bad for a man who grew up on the Disney channel and was a YouTube star before converting to the world of professional prize fighting. The only men to go the distance with Jake Paul are of course Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Tyron Woodley. This is why Paul is always odds on to win the majority of his fights via knockout with the best boxing betting sites. Jake Paul Fight Record Stands At 12-1 With 7 KO’s Jake Paul, who boasts a $100m net worth, made his professional boxing debut in January 2020 as he fought AnEsonGib. Paul had of course had a taste of life in the ring against Deji before, but this was his first fight as a real pro boxer. He knocked out his fellow YouTube sensation in devastating fashion in just one round. The 28-year-old then propelled into his second professional bout, empathically knocking Nate Robinson out within two rounds. Again, Paul certainly began to turn some heads with yet another emphatic boxing win. Not to mention the magnitude of the card he won via emphatic knockout on. Next up was Ben Askren. Jake Paul attempted to go 3-0 against his first former UFC star. Askren wasn’t renowned for his boxing skill in MMA, and was on the wrong end of another convincing first round knockout from ‘The Problem Child’. Next came without a doubt the toughest test of Jake Paul’s career. The first Tyron Woodley fight proved to be a real 50/50, with Paul getting the nod via split decision on the judges’ scorecards. However, in the rematch just four months later, Jake Paul put in a far more emphatic performance, winning via knockout inside six rounds. Next up came Anderson Silva in what was yet another huge step up. However, just like before, Paul rose to the occasion and claimed the biggest win of his boxing career to date. Anderson Silva had beaten former legitimate world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, but couldn’t defeat ‘The Problem Child’. The Jake Paul Record Continues To Improve Then came the first and only defeat of Jake Paul’s career. He fell short in his super-fight with fellow unbeaten fighter Tommy Fury, with the British fighter getting the nod via split decision after eight evenly contested rounds. Paul even secured a knockdown in the final round, but it wasn’t enough to defeat the brother of Tyson Fury. Then came the comeback victory over UFC veteran Nate Diaz. The 28-year-old put in a stellar display, comprehensively outboxing Diaz for 10 rounds with ease. In his final fight of 2023, ‘The Problem Child’ emphatically knocked out legitimate pro boxer Andre August in Round 1 of their contest. Paul landed a perfect uppercut on August’s chin, sending him tumbling to the canvas, unconscious. Yet another impressive display and win on the Jake Paul record. Then, the Jake Paul boxing record extended to 10-1 with a Round 6 knockout victory over former UFC fighter Mike Perry. The biggest fight of Paul’s career came in his 12th professional outing. ‘The Problem Child’ took on the heavyweight legend that is Mike Tyson, beating ‘Iron Mike’ via unanimous decision. Despite the fight not being overly entertaining, Paul took home over $40m in prize money for beating Tyson. His last fight was yet another victory, this time beating former WBC World Middleweight Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Paul won the contest via unanimous decision, outboxing Chavez Jr with relative ease over the 10 round distance. That takes us up to now in the professional boxing career of Jake Paul. The Ohio man continues to make huge waves in boxing circles, with legitimate world champions now calling him out too! Who knows where ‘The Problem Child’ will go next and just where his ceiling will be. Be sure to check out the latest boxing news available on the SportsCasting site ahead of Jake Paul’s next fight.
