These days in the world of darts, it seems nine dart finishes are getting more common by the week – especially with Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler as he fired in his latest in his World Matchplay semi-final win over Josh Rock. But, just what is the current Luke Littler 9 dart finish tally?

Amazingly, in the most recent Littler 9 darter, Rock was ALSO on for one having hit two 180’s in the same leg – incredible.
However, Luke Littler was first to thrown in his nine-dart finish attempt and didn’t disappoint.
With many darts fans labelling as ‘the most perfect leg of darts EVER’.Â
World Champion Littler went onto beat Rock 17-14 to make it to the 2025 World Matchplay final.
The Nuke faced 2007 winner James Wade in the final and after going 5-0, fought back to win 18-13 and winning his first Matchplay title.
Unfortunately there wasn’t another Luke Littler 9 darter in the final – so he remains on eight.

Luke Littler, who boasts a £6m net worth now, first hit a nine-darter in 2023 against Rune van Damme in the PDC Youth/Development Tour in Leicester.

Luke Littler Hit a ‘Perfect Finish’ Aged 14 (before turning pro)
There was another Luke Littler ‘perfect finish’ that was caught on camera.
What made this 9 darter even more incredible was Littler was aged just 14 at the time – when playing in the Junior Winmau MVG Masters in Gibraltar.

You have to go back to 1984 to find the first-ever televised 9 dart finish – which achieved by John Lowe.
