Luke Littler - Darts

The latest PDC form guide shows key stats that indicate that Luke Littler will win the 2025 European Championship this weekend in Dortmund.

‘The Nuke’ tops the current PDC form guide ahead of Dutchman Gian van Veen, with the 18-year-old eying success for the very first time at the European Championship come Sunday.

Key Luke Littler Stats Prove He Will WIN 2025 European Championship

The 2025 European Championship field and draw has been confirmed for this weekend’s darting action in Dortmund, with the top 32 players from the European Tour Order of Merit all in action.

This includes the likes of world number one Luke Humphries, no.1 seed Nathan Aspinall as well as four-time European Championship winner Michael van Gerwen.

Another man in action in Dortmund this week is Luke Littler, who will go on to win his first European Championship title come Sunday judging by the latest statistics.

Littler has been somewhat of a dominant force since bursting onto the scene at the 2024 World Darts Championship. The 18-year-old has won multiple majors since, and all the stats point towards another victory this weekend for ‘The Nuke’.

The latest PDC form guide points towards a Littler victory in Dortmund even more so after his success at the World Grand Prix and PC32 since the latest statistics were released.

Not to mention his stats for the last 12 months, where he leads the way in terms of averages, 180s hit, first nine-dart average, first three-dart average, legs with throw, legs against throw and even his treble-20 hit percentage.

This is a worrying sign for his competitors, who find it difficult enough as it is to beat Littler, never mind when all of the stats are in his favour too.

The reigning world champion has a miniscule lead of 0.05 points in averages over Gian van Veen in their last 200 legs, but this will be an even larger gap now given Littler’s performances in Leicester and Wigan respectively.

‘The Nuke’ leads the way both in terms of averages and most 171-180 scores hit in the last 200 legs, making him an incredibly difficult man to beat ahead of the 2025 European Championship.

Luke Littler Stats Ahead Of 2025 European Championship

Luke Littler’s stats ahead of the 2025 European Championship, as provided by PDC analyst Christopher Kempf, show that he is an almost unbeatable force in world darts right now.

Don’t rule our Littler hitting yet another televised nine-dart finish this weekend either, which would mark his nineth as a professional darts player. How fitting!

Other Key European Championship Darts Stats

Other key statistics and numbers ahead of the 2025 European Championship show that Josh Rock and Stephen Bunting could be Luke Littler’s nearest competitors this weekend in Dortmund.

Rock is eying his first major and has been knocking on the door plenty of late, with Bunting also in-form and one of the leading contenders this weekend in Germany.

The Northern Irishman is second behind Littler in terms of averages over the last 12 months, boasting a 98.25 average over the last year. Bunting has a 98.19 rolling average for the last 12 months, making him a tough man to beat too.

Both Bunting and Rock and statistically the biggest 180 hitters behind Littler in this week’s European Championship field, with Gerwyn Price and Dirk van Duijvenbode the next biggest maximum hitters.

Gian van Veen leads the way in terms of the best checkout percentage, with the Dutchman boasting a 46.64% checkout rate across the last 12 months.

Rock and Bunting both average 107+ with their first nine and three darts respectively, with both also averaging strongly on their own throw over the course of the past year.

World number one Luke Humphries averages 100 on the dot against the throw, making him one of just three players who average 100+ against the darts over the past 12 months. Littler (102.89) and Rock (100.53) are the only others.

This means that on paper, all of the stats support a strong showing in Dortmund this weekend from Stephen Bunting, Josh Rock, Luke Humphries and perhaps even Gian van Veen.

Whether or not the European Championship will play out this way entirely based off statistics remains to be seen too of course.
