After Kieran McKenna’s decision to step down from his role as Ipsiwch Town manager, our traders have compiled the Next Ipswich manager betting odds market.
McKenna has decide to take a break away from management after guiding the Tractor Boys back to the Premier League last season.
The former Manchester United coach has been heavily linked with a move to Fulham after Marco Silva’s departure, but reports suggest that the Northern Irishman is not considering a new managerial role.
McKenna joined the Tractor Boys in December 2021, with the club in disarray McKenna managed to lift spirits and earn promotion to the Championship in 2023.
Just a year later and McKenna made history once again, as Ipswich secured a place in the Premier League and completed consecutive promotions.
Ipswich were relegated back into the Championship after a poor showing overall – but bounced straight back up last season with a second placed finish.
The Tractor Boys were preparing to enter the Premier League with a stronger mindset this time around, but McKenna’s departure is a major blow to the Suffolk-based side.
Replacing the Northern Irishman will be a difficult task for Mark Ashton and the Ipswich board, but who are among the list of candidates?

Former Chelsea Boss Liam Rosenior Favourite For Tractor Boys Role
Liam Rosenior is the 7/2 favourite with SportsCasting traders amid growing talk of who could become Ipswich’s next manager.
Most recently, the 41-year-old was axed by Chelsea after just 23 matches in charge – which saw the Blues pick up just five wins in 13 Premier League fixtures.
Chelsea decided to relieve Rosenior of his duties on April 22nd after a 3-0 defeat by Brighton and the Englishman has been looking for a new role ahead of the 2026/26 campaign.
Despite his poor run in the English capital, Rosenior has shown managerial promise in recent seasons, building his craft at Hull City before a strong run with Strasbourg in Ligue1.
Thomas Frank Amongst Frontrunners To Be Next Ipswich Manager
ONE YEAR AGO today, #THFC appointed Thomas Frank, who went on to become statistically the WORST manager in the clubs history. 😳

Free agent Thomas Frank is chalked up as the 5/1 second favourite and a move back down the British pecking order could bring a fresh start for the Dane.
Frank caught the attention of the Premier League after his miraculous run with Brentford, securing a place in the top-flight in 2021 and keeping the Bees a float for four consecutive seasons.
This display earned Frank a move to Premier League giants, Tottenham, and many expected the 52-year-old to build on the club’s momentum after lifting the Europa League trophy in 2025.
However, the Lilywhites failed to buy into Frank’s ideas and after nine matches without a Premier League win, Spurs decided to cut ties with the former Brentford boss.
Ipswich could be a tempting opportunity for the Danish coach, as the Tractor Boys look to build on a second promotion to the Premier League under McKenna.
England Under 21’s Gaffer Shortlisted For Portman Road Switch

Lee Carsley has been backed into 6/1 third favourite with the oddsmakers.
The England Under-21s boss is attracting interest after adding another trophy to his name this summer.
Carsley has built a strong reputation for developing young talent and creating a winning culture.
That could appeal to Ipswich, a club that values long-term growth and a clear footballing identity.
He’s played a key role in shaping talents like Cole Palmer and Anthony Gordon.
Although new to club management, his work with England’s youth squads stands out.
Ipswich might see him as the right man to develop their young squad over time.
If they want a fresh approach, Carsley definitely fits the bill.
