The 2025 Nordic Darts Masters gets underway in Copenhagen on Friday, with the likes of Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price and Nathan Aspinall headlining the event.
Nordic Darts Masters 2025 Preview
This year’s Nordic Darts Masters gets underway from Copenhagen on Friday evening, where reigning champion Gerwyn Price will be looking to defend his crown after beating Rob Cross 8-6 in last year’s final.
It will be the fifth edition of the tournament, having first been staged in 2021, and the third entry in the 2025 World Series of Darts. The previous two events were won by Stephen Bunting (Bahrain Masters) and Rob Cross (Dutch Masters).
There will be eight elite PDC representatives, with seeding based on the opening two World Series events.
Seeds are as follows: Bunting (1), Cross (2), Price (3), Luke Littler (4), Luke Humphries (5), Nathan Aspinall (6), Chris Dobey (7) and Jonny Clayton (8). Michael van Gerwen was also due to compete but withdrew due to family reasons.
They will be joined in the bracket by six Nordic & Baltic Tour Card holders – Madars Razma, Benjamin Drue Reus, Jeffrey de Graad, Cor Dekker, Oskar Lukasiak and Viktor Tingstrom – as well as the two top ranked players on the PDC Nordic & Baltic Order of Merit as of 11 May – Andreas Harryson and Darius Labanauskas.
Dobey, who replaced Van Gerwen in the tournament, kickstarts the event against De Graaf. Title holder Price follows against Dekker, while newly crowned Premier League champion Humphries takes on Razma.
Cross, who has been handed a five-year ban as a company director over an unpaid tax bill, battles it out against Harryson.
PDC World Champion Littler is in action later in the evening, as he faces Tingstrom. Top seed Bunting entertains Lukasiak after that, and Welsh No. 1 Clayton rounds off the night against Labanauskas.
