Oleksandr Usyk Next Fight: Who Will The Undefeated Ukrainian Face Next?

Oleksandr Usyk boasts a £45m net worth and has become one of the 21st century boxing greats in recent years. The unbeaten Ukrainian fighter not only became undisputed champion at cruiserweight, but also became undisputed king of the heavyweight division too in 2024.

Usyk has beaten all comers in his career to date, including Anthony Joshua on two occasions and of course Tyson Fury twice after back-to-back victories over ‘The Gypsy King’.

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four belt era, and the first since Lennox Lewis achieved the feat against Evander Holyfield in 1999.

Oleksandr Usyk’s record is currently a perfect 23-0. This includes 14 wins via knockout and just nine decision victories. Not only that, but the great Ukrainian has won all 12 world title fights he has competed in at both cruiserweight and heavyweight combined.

The 38-year-old will aim to improve this record in his next fight too, which has now been officially confirmed against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on July 19th.

Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions, with the help of His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh Season, is staging the Usyk vs Dubois rematch at Wembley Stadium this summer.

The pair first fought back in August 2023 with the Ukrainian winning the fight via knockout in Round 9. Since then, Usyk has become the undisputed champion, before relinquishing the IBF belt which Dubois won to become world champion against Anthony Joshua.

Oleksandr Usyk’s next fight against Daniel Dubois is a fascinating one and one boxing fans eagerly await this undisputed rematch clash.

Will Oleksandr Usyk Retire After Daniel Dubois Rematch?

After defeating Tyson Fury for the second time in in December 2024, Oleksandr Usyk well and truly put an end to his rivalry with ‘The Gypsy King’ whilst pocketing £82.5 million in prize money for his rematch win too.

Now, Oleksandr Usyk’s next fight sees him rematch another Brit in Daniel Dubois. Dubois, who boasts a net worth of £4m, has already lost to ‘The Cat’, but has been given another shot at the great Ukrainian in this undisputed clash.

After the Dubois fight, win or lose, Usyk will have plenty of options. One of which could be retirement. At 38-years-old and with nothing left to prove, Usyk could well sail off into the sunset and retire from the sport.

If he decides to do this, nobody could begrudge him. He has had a career littered with major triumphs and sensational performances, so there is nothing left for Usyk to prove, having entirely wiped out both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

After beating Tyson Fury for the second time, some fans discussed the possibility of Usyk hanging his gloves up for good. Ultimately that wasn’t the case, with Usyk continuing to fight with yet another British heavyweight standing in his way in his next outing.

Even after Usyk’s next fight against Dubois, he could continue to face challengers such as Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel or even Moses Itauma, who all feel they deserve a shot at the heavyweight king.

Time will tell what happens after Oleksandr Usyk’s next fight. One thing that cannot be denied is the fact he is a modern great and one of the best fighters of all time. Period.
