Usyk has revealed he will be praying for Paul, insisting that ‘AJ’ can ‘kill this guy’ when the pair meet on December 19.

Oleksandr Usyk Raises Concerns For Jake Paul’s Life Ahead Of Anthony Joshua Clash

Two-weight undisputed champion and two-time undisputed heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk has raised serious concerns ahead of Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua.

The Joshua vs Paul rules have been set with the bout taking place in the heavyweight division on December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The bout is scheduled for eight three-minute rounds, with ‘AJ’ limited to weighing 245-pounds.

The fight is a genuine professional contest, which is unbelievable to think when you consider the accolades of both men. Joshua is a two-time unified heavyweight champion, with Paul’s only notable boxing victories over retired MMA fighters and a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

A lot of fans feel that Joshua will run through Paul whenever he wants, with several people also raising concerns for Paul’s health. Usyk is one of them. The Ukrainian boxing superstar has not only raised serious concerns for Paul’s health, but concerns for his life.

The 38-year-old believes that the fight is a complete mismatch, drawing a comparison to a Rolls Royce versus a Fiat. Although Usyk realises boxing is a business and there is millions of pounds in the fight, his concerns over the health of ‘The Problem Child’ are serious.

Joshua cancelled a surprise fight with American heavyweight Casius Chaney in favour of this fight with Paul, which Usyk believes is unsafe and should be monitored extremely carefully.

Usyk: ‘If Anthony Joshua Wants, He Can Kill This Guy’

Oleksandr Usyk’s concerns for Jake Paul’s life ahead of his heavyweight showdown with former two-time unified champion Anthony Joshua are genuine.

Usyk knows first-hand how hard ‘AJ’ hits and just how good he is, having shared 24 rounds with the Brit. Although Usyk defeated Joshua relatively comfortably both times, that is at the very elite level of boxing. This is not, hence why ‘The Cat’ has raised concerns for Paul’s life.

Speaking to BoxingScene, the 24-0 undefeated former two-weight undisputed champion revealed that he will be praying for ‘The Problem Child’ when he gets into the ring with ‘AJ’.

“If Anthony Joshua wants, he can kill this guy,” said Usyk.

“Listen, Joshua is an Olympic champion. Jake Paul, sportsman, YouTuber, showman. [Joshua is] a Rolls Royce. [Paul is] a Fiat. It’s true.

“It’s business. More money in this. We need to pray for Jake Paul. I will pray for Jake Paul, because I want to fight Jake Paul in the octagon. UFC!” concluded the undefeated Ukrainian boxer.

Jake Paul tops the list of the most followed boxers on Instagram with over 28 million followers, hence why a fight with Anthony Joshua makes financial and business sense.

However, in terms of actual boxing skill in the ring, the fight makes no sense whatsoever. In fact, it is a total mismatch. Oleksandr Usyk certainly isn’t the only one seriously concerned for Paul’s health with his ‘AJ’ super-fight just around the corner.
