A transfer update has been issued on Derby County striker Patrick Agyemang off the back of rumours linking the American with moves to Crystal Palace and Leeds.
Are Crystal Palace and Leeds in for Patrick Agyemang?
A fresh transfer update has been issued on the future of Derby striker Patrick Agyemang.
Football Insider reported on Wednesday morning that the American international was drawing interest from the Premier League, with Crystal Palace and Leeds interested in signing him.
They added that the Rams value the 25-year-old at around the ÂŁ20m mark.
However, DerbyshireLive have since denied these rumours. In a report on Wednesday afternoon, they confirmed that Derby had not received any approaches for Agyemang this month.
Additionally, they revealed that the forward, who joined from MLS club Charlotte FC for an initial ÂŁ5.8m fee in the summer, is strictly not for sale, and the club will not entertain any bids.
Agyemang’s contract at Pride Park runs until 2029, therefore Derby are under no pressure to sell.
Thus far this term, the 6ft4in striker has totalled seven goals and four assists in 24 appearances.
His most recent goal came in the Rams’ impressive 1-0 win over Preston North End last Saturday, while he has also scored against the likes of Birmingham and Middlesbrough this term.
He also bagged a brace in the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough in December.

Agyemang hopes to continue impressing in the East Midlands for the remainder of the season as he eyes a spot in Mauricio Pochettino’s USMNT squad for the World Cup next summer.
He’ll be aiming to add to his tally when Derby host struggling West Brom on Friday night.
The Baggies head into the tie off the back of a 5-0 loss to Norwich, with newly appointed head coach Eric Ramsay already among the favourites in the Championship sack race odds.
Derby County Transfer News
Thus far in the January transfer window, Derby have signed Oscar Fraulo and Dion Sanderson.
Fraulo joined Derby from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach for an undisclosed fee at the start of the month, while Sanderson made his loan move from Birmingham permanent.
In terms of other incomings, it is thought that John Eustace is keen on signing a new wide player.
Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana, who is capable of playing as a striker or out wide, is among the players linked, with Stamford Bridge chiefs keen on selling the Ivorian for around ÂŁ10m.
Celtic, Leicester, Anderlecht, Los Angeles FC and more are also said to be interested.
As for outgoings, Curtis Nelson has joined MK Dons, and Ebou Adams has exited for Portsmouth.
Nelson departed for an undisclosed fee, and Adams reportedly joined Pompey for ÂŁ500,000.
