A recent outing has also been a good pointer to the winner and, since 2016, backing three-year-old fillies who had raced within the past six weeks would have found four winners from 16 bets for a profit of £12.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. In two of the three blank years there was only one big-priced qualifier (20-1 and 25-1). His year, we have three qualifiers – ELIZABATH JANE, FLEUR DE CHINE and ROYAL ENTRY, numbers 9, 10 and 11 on the racecard in this 11-runner line-up, and the best pay to side with them as a group is to buy DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER with Spreadex.

SEDGEFIELD 4.55

THE NAVIGATOR has a good record following a win or runner-up effort, recording form figures of 11711271 (5-8) for a profit of £11.20 to a £1 level stake at SP. Dianne Sayer’s nine-year-old was a winner at Kelso last time and return to Sedgefield could suit. His record here without headgear reads 112123 (3-6) and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t go close at least. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
