Rangers, meanwhile, have not had the start they wanted. Russell Martin’s side have yet to record a win in the Premiership, drawing all three matches. They have drawn Motherwell, Dundee, and St. Mirren, with all of them finishing 1-1.
Rangers have also failed to qualify for the Champions League, having suffered a 9-1 aggregate defeat to Club Brugge in the play-offs.
