The Amgen Irish Open gets underway at the K Club on Thursday, September 4, and fans are eager to know whether world No. 2 Rory McIlroy will be in action.

McIlroy’s solitary Irish Open win came in 2016 — the first time K Club hosted the event. The Irishman played a perfect game, winning his maiden Irish Open title by three shots. McIlroy finished on 276 points, -12 to par.
