Another busy weekend ahead and we are back with our Saturday horse racing tips from the ITV Racing action at Chester, Sandown and Beverley.Â
Across the afternoon there are EIGHT live races at the three tracks on the ITV Racing schedule, with Andy Newton, from the Final Furlong Podcast, giving you his quickfire 1-2-3 best bets.
At Sandown, the Solario Stakes (3:35pm) is the feature – a race this year’s St James’s Palace Stakes winner Field Of Gold won last year.
Then at Beverley, it’s their Beverley Bullet Sprint day – where Regional will be all the rage in the 2:05pm.
While at Chester the ITV Racing cameras are on the Roodee to take in two races – including the Listed Chester Stakes (2:40pm).
You can also see our daily horse racing tips – with four best bets highlighted each day, including a NAP and NB.
Beverley Horse Racing Tips – Saturday 30th August 2025
1:30 Beverley – William Hill Silver Cup Handicap Cl4 (3yo+ 0-85) 1m2f ITV
The William Haggas yard have a decent 28% SR with their 3 year-olds here and so their lightly-raced Wootton Bassett gelding Crown Of Oaks, who did it well at Ayr the last day, has to be respected.
But the horse is now a non-runner.
So, all this opens up this race – giving it a more competitive feel and one I liked, even with Crown Of Oaks in the race, was SPIORADALTA, for the in-form Mark Walford team.
He won well at Ripon the last day – beating another runner here Dawn Of Liberation by 1/2 a length and is actually 12lbs better off here with no claimer on the runner-up this time.
He’s also won off a mark of 78 in the past, so could still be treated well off 73 and has run well at Beverley in the past.
Titian is another to note from the Julie Camacho team that boast a 26% SR with their 4+ year-olds here and are also heading into the weekend in good order.
While Godolphin’s Desert Shadow and the CD winners Glistening Nights, Distinction, Dawn Of Liberation and Time Tells All respected too.

The consistent REGIONAL will be popular here stepping down in grade after being placed (3rd) in the G1 King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot in June (watch below).
Off a mark of 114 he’s the top-rated in the field. The niggle is that he’s winless in seven, but as mentioned has been running in much better races and the last time he dipped into this grade (2023) he won.
The first-time blinkers are interesting too and often being quick out – draw 3 looks perfect. He’s going to be a popular pick with the horse racing betting sites.
Of the rest, the Clive Cox yard have won three of the last four – so their Redorange and 2023 winner of this race Kerdos command respect too.
As does the Royal Ascot winner Adrestia, who won the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes there three runs back.
But at a price, STAR OF LADY M, who has a good draw in 2, is worth a saver too. This David O’Meara runner hasn’t been out since last October but is still rated 109 and being a mare also gets a handy 5lbs from Regional – meaning on the adjusted figures is the same as the favourite.
She’s a CD winner too so if tuned up for this first run back after 10 months off, could outrun her odds and rates a decent e/w Saturday horse racing tip in this Beverley race.

1:50 Sandown – Download The Betmgm App Handicap Cl3 (3yo+ 0-95) 7f ITV
Ascot International 5th Kodi Lion will be popular, but is still 5lbs higher than last win, so might not be that well-handicapped.
Woroodd has some wins to it’s name and should have more to come too but hasn’t been out for 100 and the form of her last win is questionable.
I had liked Waldon’s Law and Cavolo Nero – but both a non-runners now too. So the main call is HEADMASTER.
This son of Dubawi was well-backed the last day at Goodwood, but probably wasn’t given the best of rides by Japanese rider Mirai Iwata. The Haggas yard boasts a top 31% SR with their 3 year-olds here and having won well before that last run at Haydock could easily bounce back.
It’s worth noting that all of the last four winners came from stalls 6 or lower and Oisin Murphy has ridden two of the last four – he gets the leg-up on Ellaria Sand, but does have gate 10.
In contrast, the already mentioned Kodi Lion (4) and Woroodd (2) are drawn low, with Headmaster needing to defy this stat in gate 8.

2:25 Sandown – Betmgm Atalanta Stakes (Group 3) Cl1 (3yo+) 1m ITV
Blue Bolt is a filly on the up after wins at Windsor, Newbury and Sandown – but is up again in grade here, so another step forward is needed.
Alobayyah is the proverbial ‘could be anything’ after a sole run and win at Yarmouth, but hails from the powerful William Haggas yard, who clearly feel she’s up to this level.
Spiritual was 4th in this race last year and is the top-rated, while Cathedral probably brings the best form to the table after a close 4th in the G1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
While Skellet is a proven CD Listed winner here and probably didn’t handle the Epsom track the last day and also raced a bit keen. So looks overpriced having been 8th in the Irish 1000 Guineas last season.
But this is a race the Cheveley Park boys like to target – with three wins in the last nine, so a chance is taken on their CAJOLE.
This Gosden runner is yet to win a race on grass but has only had four runs. She was only a length behind Blue Bolt here in July but ran on well that day to suggest she could turn the form around.
Since then, she’s run a close 5th at Ascot in the G3 Valiant Stakes and the form of that has been franked with the 8th Lou Lou’s Gift winning since.

Flying Frontier won this race last year and is only 3lbs higher – he has to be respected and comes here having won at this track last time out. And the James Tate yard have a decent 31% SR at Sandown with their recent runners.
The Harry Eustace runner Mustazeed is interesting too – especially if more rain but has won on good too. He’s only had two runs this season so will be fresher than more and after a 4th (of 13) last time could be running into form. Last year he did well at this time of the year – winning in September.
But SADDADD is the one that looks to have the most to come with just four runs (2 wins). The last of those came back in May at Newbury but the form of that win looks solid with the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th all coming out and winning since. Including Quai De Bethune, who won the Golden Gates at Royal Ascot.

Little depth here to the feature at the Esher track – with really the race was looking between the promising pair of Publish and Pacific Avenue.
They are also trained by Gosden and Appleby, who have won six of the last eight runnings of this race between them (three each).
However, Publish is a non-runner now due to the ground. Meaning Pacific Avenue is the new jolly.
To be honest I was with this Godolphin runner anyway.
PACIFIC AVENUE beat another Godolphin runner in Wild Desert, who was entered for this earlier in the week. While the form of that win has been franked many times since with the 2nd running 3rd in the G2 Superlative next time, and the 3rd, 4th and 5th all winning since too.
Chesham winner Humidity is certainly no back number either – his recent 7th in the Vintage (only beaten 3 1/2 lengths) was still a good run behind a very good winner in Zavateri.
A Bit Of Spirit should be better back to 7f too after running a close second in the Listed Pat Eddery Stakes over this trip at Ascot in July.
While the James Tate runner He’s Waliim could not have been more impressive on debut at Beverley and will be interesting to see how he copes with the rise in class.
However, as mentioned, Pacific Avenue’s debut win has been franked all over the place and he rates our Saturday horse racing tip in this final ITV Racing contest at Sandown.

Chester Horse Racing Tips – Saturday 30th August 2025
2:40 Chester – Virgin Bet Chester Stakes (Listed Race) Cl1 (3yo+) 1m6½f ITV
Tabletalk is the top-rated in the field (113) and having run well in better races this season looks the one to beat now eased in grade.
Connections are also sporting the first-time cheekpieces today but has only won once from eight turf runs and this will also be his first try at Chester.
The Ralph Beckett team have a good record in this, so their Allonsy is worth a mention too. She won a Listed race at Pontefract back in June and probably just found the G2 Lillie Langtry Stakes too hot last time. This step back in grade will help.
But the call is for the Andrew Balding runner ALSAKIB to bounce back after a poor run at York last time, when unsuited by the quicker ground. Has won on G/F in the past though but is a better horse with a small but of cut – so any rain will certainly help.
He was also third in the Ormonde Stakes here in 2024 and won at Chester in 2023 – so we know the track suits.

TWO TEMPTING won this race last year and looks worth sticking with in a race that would have been a big target again.
This Jonathan Portman runner has since won at Chester in May so is 2-2 on the Roodee and is back down to that winning mark (96).
Draw 10 is the slight issue but came from gate 7 last year and the second (14) and third (10) were drawn high too.
Yanifier ran in the race last year too (5th) and is back a pound lower. While Tom Eaves has done well in this race recently – winning two of the last four and he gets the leg-up on Thunder Road.
Any rain would add to his chance, but after a poor run on the AW at Newcastle last time is back on the grass where he’s 4/19.
