Goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid)
Thibaut Courtois was the standout performer in Real Madrid’s 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday night. The Belgian goalkeeper faced an xGOT of 1.76 and made eight saves at Anfield.

Courtois was ultimately beaten by an Alexis Mac Allister header in the 63rd minute.
Defenders
Conor Bradley (Liverpool)
With first-choice right back Jeremie Frimpong injured, Liverpool coach Arne Slot deployed Conor Bradley on the right against Real Madrid.
Bradley delivered one of the best performances of his career, completely nullifying Madrid left-winger Vinicius Jr. Vinicius was trolled on social media after he lost possession 19 times against Bradley. The Liverpool man also played 11 passes into the final third, won eight duels, and recorded seven recoveries.
Carlos Augusto (Inter Milan)
Carlos Augusto was at the top of his game as Inter Milan claimed a surprisingly tricky 2-1 victory over underdogs Kairat Almaty on Wednesday night.
The centre-back completed the most passes in the game (81) with 95% accuracy, had the most tackles (3), and most importantly, scored the winning goal in the 67th minute. Francesco Esposito laid the ball off for him outside the box, and the defender applied a powerful finish to make it 2-1 for the hosts.
Micky van de Ven (Tottenham Hotspur)
Micky van de Ven scored arguably the best goal of the season as Tottenham Hotspur claimed a 4-0 victory over Copenhagen.
In the 64th minute, Van de Ven went on a run from the edge of his own area, swerved past five or six Copenhagen players, and applied a finish any striker would be proud of.

The 24-year-old also played seven passes into the final third, delivered five accurate long balls, and won three of five duels.
Dan Burn (Newcastle United)
Newcastle United beat Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in their Champions League Gameweek 4 meeting on Wednesday. Newcastle left-back set Dan Burn set the tone early, scoring in the 11th minute.
Kieran Trippier delivered an excellent free-kick towards the back post. Burn, unmarked, applied a thumping header to send the ball into the back of the net. Burn also recorded six defensive contributions and won seven of eight duels.
Midfielders
Phil Foden (Manchester City)
Manchester City breezed past Borussia Dortmund in Gameweek 4, claiming a 4-1 victory. Phil Foden scored a brace to take home the Player of the Match award.
Foden opened the scoring for City in the 22nd minute, finding with bottom left corner with a thumping strike from outside of the box. The Englishman doubled his money in the 57th minute, once again finding the bottom-left corner of Dortmund’s goal from outside the area.
The brace aside, Foden created three chances, completed two dribbles, and delivered four accurate long balls.
Mikel Merino (Arsenal)
Arsenal secured a 3-0 victory against Slavia Prague away from home on Tuesday night. Mikel Merino, who operated as a striker, was on target twice.
He scored Arsenal’s second goal in the 46th minute, coolly turning in Leandro Trossard’s cross from close range. In the 68th minute, Merino struck again, beating the Slavia Prague goalkeeper to Declan Rice’s delivery and heading it into an empty net.

Merino also created a chance, had six defensive contributions, and drew three fouls.
Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
Alexis Mac Allister may have scored the winning goal, but it was a Dominik Szoboszlai show all along. The Hungarian delivered a peach of a free-kick into the box, allowing the Argentina to apply a simple finish.
Szoboszlai was Liverpool’s most prominent threat on Tuesday. He tested Thibaut Courtois a whopping four times, with three of his efforts coming from outside the box. Had it not been for Courtois’ heroics, Szoboszlai could have had a goal or two to his name,
Forwards
Carlos Forbs (Club Brugge)
Barcelona were held to a 3-3 draw by Club Brugge on Wednesday night. Carlos Forbs contributed to all three goals, scoring twice and assisting the other.
In the sixth minute, the Portuguese beat the offside trap, burst into space, and teed up Nicolo Tresoldi for a simple finish. Eleven minutes later, Forbs got on the scoresheet, finding the bottom-left corner of Barcelona’s goal with a cool finish from inside the box.
He had his brace in the 63rd minute, as he dunked the ball above Wojciech Szczesny, finishing off a rapid counter attack.
Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray)
Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick as Galatasaray cruised to a 3-0 victory away at Ajax. The former Napoli striker opened his account with a diving header in the 59th minute.

Five minutes later, Galatasaray won a penalty, and Osimhen made no mistake finding the bottom-left corner. Osimhen completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 78th minute, this time sending the ball into the top corner.
Luis Diaz (Bayern Munich)
Luis Diaz scored a brace as Bayern Munich claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. The Colombian turned in Michael Olise’s rebound in the fourth minute, giving the visitors the perfect start.
In the 32nd minute, Diaz won possession from Marquinhos, lined up his shot, and beat Lucas Chevalier with a thumping strike.
Diaz, however, comprised Bayern by seeing a red card in the first-half stoppage time. He caught Achraf Hakimi on the touchline, and the referee, following a VAR review, showed him a straight red.
Luckily for him, Bayern managed to hold on to secure a crucial victory.
