Tom Aspinall’s next fight has been officially confirmed as the Englishman makes the first defence of his UFC Heavyweight Title at UFC 321 in October.
Aspinall is set to face #1 heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane in the UFC 321 main event in Abu Dhabi on October 25th.

Despite being just 32-years-old and only having had nine UFC fights to date, Tom Aspinall boasts an impressive 15-3 MMA record as of today, which includes 12 knockout finishes and three submission finishes.
Aspinall, whose net worth has surpassed £2m, hasn’t gone the distance once in his entire MMA career, showing just how talented an MMA fighter he is. Like his countrymen Paddy ‘The Paddy’ Pimblett and former welterweight king Leon Edwards, Aspinall is helping keep British MMA on the map right now.
UFC fans last saw Tom Aspinall in action back in July at UFC 304 in Manchester. Aspinall faced Curtis Blaydes, the only man who had beaten him in the UFC in their highly-anticipated rematch.

Could Aspinall’s Next Fight After Gane Be Against Jon Jones?
Provided the Tom Aspinall next fight goes in his favour, the English MMA star could well be in for the biggest year of his career in 2026.
Should he beat Ciryl Gane at UFC 321, then all roads could lead to a showdown once and for all with Jon Jones, who is the greatest MMA fighter of all time thanks to 16 wins in UFC title fights, at some point next year.
Jones of course retired thus Aspinall was upgraded to the full UFC Heavyweight Champion. However, just a matter of days after officially announcing his retirement, Jones has hinted at returning to the octagon next year.
There have been rumours of a UFC White House card, which Jones wants to be a part of. Conor McGregor’s next fight, if he ever returns, could also be on the UFC White House card, as he eyes cage return after re-entering the UFC testing pool.
Whatever happens, Aspinall’s next fight after Gane could well finally be against ‘Bones’. Besides Gane and Jones, there are very few fighters left at the top of the heavyweight division that Tom Aspinall has left to face.
The bookies would likely favour Aspinall to defeat Jones if they ever did fight, showing just how special a fighter he really is.
This just goes to show how impressive Aspinall has been during his relatively short UFC tenure, and how highly he is regarded by Dana White and UFC fans. Provided he beats Ciryl Gane at UFC 321, then it could be a mouth-watering showdown with the greatest MMA fighter of all time next.
