Tuesday’s Premier League Transfer Rumours

Man United and Chelsea Linked with Kerim Alajbegovic

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United and Chelsea are two of the teams interested in Red Bull Salzburg attacker Kerim Alajbegovic.

The Red Devils want to add to their attack despite signing Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, and Matheus Cunha in the summer transfer window. Mbeumo, in particular, was excellent on Matchday 9, as he scored a brace in a 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion. Owing to his impressive performance, he has seen his value rise in FPL price changes for Gameweek 10.

Chelsea, who have had a rough start to the season and are in ninth place in the Premier League table, are also considering reinforcements. Both teams have been impressed with the 18-year-old’s start to life in the Austrian top flight.

He has scored six goals and provided an assist in 20 games for RB Salzburg in the 2025/26 season. Alajbegovic, who is the youngest debutant and goalscorer for Bosnia and Herzegovina, also impressed for the Bayer Leverkusen U-19s last season, scoring 16 goals and providing 12 assists.

A January move looks unlikely and Bayer Leverkusen have a buy-back clause in Alajbegovic’s contract, making the deal tricky to pull off for the Premier League pair.

Man City, Man United Among Five Premier Teams Targeting Jeremy Monga

Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are all eyeing a move for Leicester City’s Jeremy Monga.

Monga is only 16 years old, so he cannot yet sign a professional contract. He accepted scholarship terms with Leicester City last summer to be eligible to play.

According to TBR Football, Man City are leading the race to sign Monga, and since there is no professional contract in place, Leicester cannot stop the move from going through.

The report further claims that Monga, who is seen as a generational talent, could be ready to switch clubs as early as January 2026.

Iliman Ndiaye on the Radar for European Giants

Everton midfielder Iliman Ndiaye has been in excellent form this season, scoring three goals and providing an assist in nine matches. His performances have caught the attention of multiple highly rated clubs across the Premier League, Serie A, and LaLiga.

As per a report from TeamTalk, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, AC Milan, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid are all keeping tabs on the Senegalese player.

Everton, however, would only be inclined to sell if they receive an offer exceeding £60 million. Ndiaye joined the Toffees from Marseille in the summer of 2024 and is contractually tied to the club until June 2029.

Since the player has a long-term contract, Everton will have the final say.

Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man City Target Bayern’s Dayot Upamecano

Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City are keen on signing Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano, TBR Football has reported. The 27-year-old has been in excellent form under new Bayern coach Vincent Kompany, drawing the attention of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man City.

Although the three Premier League clubs hold him in high regard, they believe he is more likely to stay than leave. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are worried about his contract situation. The 27-year-old French international sees his contract expire in June 2026. Bayern are wary that the defender would receive important offers in early 2026 if extension talks stall.

He has played 164 games for Bayern since joining in 2021. The France international has scored five goals and provided 10 assists.

Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim Shortlists Elliot Anderson

Manchester United added quite a few players to their ranks in the summer transfer window, but Ruben Amorim has not stopped recruiting for his project.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, United are leading the list of Premier League clubs interested in the Nottingham Forest midfielder. Amorim wants to improve his midfield next summer, and Anderson is reportedly on the shortlist. The Red Devils have been scouting him extensively and see him as a long-term prospect.

Nottingham Forest, however, will not let him go for cheap. They have a deal with the player until 2029 and there is no release clause in his contract. According to the aforementioned source, Forest want between £100 million and £120 million for their midfield talent.
