Argentina saw off Colombia 1-0 in their semi-final. While Morocco beat France 5-4 on penalties.
Meaning the 2025 U20 World Cup Final will be between Argentina and Morocco.
The match will be played on Sunday 19th October 2025 and held at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, Santiago.

“Argentina remain favourites and are now priced at 4/11 after edging past Colombia 1-0 in a tense semi-final. They’ve looked like the strongest side in the tournament from the outset and will take some stopping in the final.”
“Morocco, meanwhile, continue their incredible run. They held their nerve to beat France on penalties after a hard-fought draw, adding to earlier wins over Brazil and Spain. What started as a dark horse campaign is now a genuine shot at the title.”
The tournament, however, won’t feature the Three Lions side, who won this in 2017, as England failed to qualify for the U20 World Cup.
Six Time Winners Argentina Favourites In U20 World Cup Betting Odds Market 🇦🇷
No nation has won the U20 World Cup more times than Argentina – with six titles.
Their first came back in only the second finals (1979), when the tournament was hosted in Japan – while their most recent was in 2007.
Therefore, despite the bookies thinking Argentina are the team to beat at the 2025 U20 World Cup, they are currently on an 18-year winless run.
This year the Argentina team will be led by manager Diego Placente, having taken over the role in November 2024 from former Liverpool player Javier Mascherano.
Placente won 22 international caps for Argentina and before taking over the U20 side had been involved with their juniors, U15 and U17 teams.
Argentina edged past Colombia in the semi final, meaning they will play Morocco in the final.
