When is The Masters 2025? As the new golf season begins to take shape, it won’t be long until all eyes are on the first major championship of the year at The Masters in April 2025. Here is all you need to know about the 2025 showing of The Masters.

Like it is every year, The Masters 2025 heads to Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The Masters is held at Augusta each and every years, and is now the first major championship on the professional golfing roster.

The 2025 Masters event will mark the 89th time that the golfing world’s most anticipated event comes to Augusta National. 1934 was the first ever Masters tournament, which was the beginning of the most famous and coveted prize in all of golf.

The 2025 edition of The Masters is set to get underway on Thursday, 10th April 2025. Masters week begins on Monday 7th April, which of course includes the famous Par 3 tournament. Not to mention a few practice rounds for the players before the actual event kicks off.

TV channel (UK): If you are subscribed to Sky Sports, you will be able to watch the first major of 2025 on TV through the Sky Sports Main Event or Sky Sports Golf channels.

Live Stream (UK): The Masters 2025 action is also available to stream through the Sky Sports website or Sky Go app. Play is due to start at 1pm GMT on Thursday, 10th April 2025.

Will Tiger Woods Be Playing In The Masters?

Although unconfirmed, it is being rumoured that Tiger Woods will play at The Masters in 2025. The five-time Green Jacket winner has been battling injury for the best part of five years now, and seemingly plays far less golf now.

That being said, Woods will likely tee it up in all four major championships in 2025. Augusta National is a golf course he knows extremely well, having won The Masters tournament on five occasions.

The 2019 Masters was the last time golf fans saw Woods triumph at Augusta, but it seems unlikely he will ever win another major between now and the end of his career. However, write Tiger Woods off at your peril!

Fingers crossed the 15-time major champion tees it up at Augusta in April and aims to win his sixth Masters.

Who Is The Favourite To Win The 2025 Masters?

Ahead of The Masters, it’s two-time champion and world number one Scottie Scheffler who heads to Augusta as the overriding favourite with the best golf betting sites.
