Losing Finalists Spain The Favourites To Go One Better At Euro 2029
Spain headed the market with most football betting sites to triumph at the 2025 Women’s Euros and they almost justified those odds.
They showed their class on the pitch and from the quarter-final stage onwards only let one goal in – which came in the final against England.
As a result, it’s no shock to see the SportsCasting odds team making Spain the 5/2 favourites to go one better in 2029.
However, those looking elsewhere for the winner at Euro 2029, will be quick to say – since this tournament started in 1984, Spain are still to win it.
Women’s Euro Betting Odds 2029 Make Lionesses Second Favourites
Between 1997 and 2013, the German women’s football team dominated the Euros – winning an incredible six tournaments on the bounce.
But England are having a pretty good stab at eating into that record, having won the last two Women’s European Championships in 2022 and 2025.
It’s not yet known who the Women’s Euro 2029 hosts will be – but the Lionesses probably won’t care.
With six countries still in with a shout (Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Denmark) – the results of the bids are expected in December 2025.
The odds compilers have put England in as the second favourites in the Women’s Euro 2029 betting odds market at 3/1.
Giving them a 25% chance of winning for a third time and a £20 stake on them at 3/1 returns £80 (including stake back).
France and Germany Next Best In The Women’s Euro Betting Odds 2029 Market
Just behind Spain and England in the Women’s Euro betting odds market, are France and Germany at 5/1 and 6/1.
The pair met at Euro 2025 in the quarter finals, with Germany coming out 6-5 in a dramatic penalty shootout.
However, Germany, who have won the Women’s Euros seven times, crashed out 1-0 to Spain in the semi-final.
In contrast to the record haul of wins by Germany – France are yet to win the Women’s European Championship, or even get to a final.
Commentary: SportsCasting spokesman Andy Newton reacted to our ‘Women’s Euro Betting Odds 2029’ saying:
“The Lionesses did it the hard way in Switzerland after being seconds from going out in the semi-final to Italy and then coming from behind in the final to beat Spain on penalties.Â
“But all this showed the monumental team spirit and will-to-win that England women’s manager Sarina Wiegman has installed into her team.
“At this stage, UEFA are still deciding on the bids for the 2029 hosting duties, but wherever the tournament is held in four years England won’t care too much.Â
“And despite being second favourites in the women’s Euro 2029 betting market – the England odds of 3/1 look fair value for a young team that can only get better.Â
“It will be a brave person to say the Lionesses can’t roar to success again in 2029 and shout out “It’s Coming Home’ for a third time.
